Lively atmosphere in Oldham

“I bought my beautiful BEL python from this shop last week and had a lovely experience. The owner has a vast range of knowledge about the reptiles that he breeds and was happy to answer the questions that I had. He's a really friendly and approchable guy, who even let me hold one of his other snakes that I'd never come across before. If I were looking to purchase a snake again, I would defintely go back and it was worth the two buses that I had to get to reach the shop”

“Booked Interclubbers for our sons christening and was very impressed. From the point of booking Nat has been fab, answered all my questions promptly. On the day of the christening Nat and Dale helped us set up the room. We hired the balloon arch which just made the decoration and hired the bouncy castle which all the kids loved. Both of these was very reasonably priced. Nat did the hot food buffet which all my guests commented on nice it was again much cheaper than other quotes i got and worth every penny. Staff were extremly friendly and we will defo use this venue again as staff went above and beyond Thank you to both for making our day a great one”

“One of the most enjoyable bank holiday weekend's I've had for a while. What made it special was the support artist enjoyed their day; not just turned up. Jean, Heather, and the rest of the staff where on hand. Made up a nice table too . Keep on rocking; my day was complete x!”

Food arrived very quickly after being offered the opportunity to watch it get made fresh in front of our eyes which was amazing. “Must say food was delicious I got a spicy burger meal and he gave my mate free dhaal soup on the house, he came around after we finished to ask us if everything was good. The place is clean and covid regulations followed. It has seating places to eat in. U need a mask to enter once inside u can have it off. I will come again the warmth we got from the staff specially the red t shirt brother was really nice. I highly recommend everyone tries it once if they like grill foods, shawarma or kobedas.”

“we have been coming to this delightful place for a number of years,and Emma and her mum Pamela are so helpful if u cant see it they will see if they can get it for u. The raw dog food our dogs love andthey also do amazing veg boxes and the bread and muffins are good too[if u see any chocolate brownies they are to die for} Great place and great family run bussiness.100%”

“Food is lovely. The salmon bagel was so good I ordered a second. The waffles are also outrageous! The staff are always super welcoming to me and my family, putting in the effort of accommodating our baby/pram even with the limited space. Best coffee in town too. Will be a regular customer for as long as this place is open!”

“Awesome little shop with great selection of beer and wine. Always receive a warm welcome and the coffee is gorgeous. Slowly building a stock of other items like gifts, most of which are very local which is fab. Love local supporting local. Also the pies and brownies are to die for. Beware, you will not shift the lockdown weight!!”

“Beautiful new addition to the villages, we needed a coffee shop like this! Gorgeous interior, friendly staff (very accomodating of my iced coffee request on a lovely sunny day in saddleworth), delicious healthy food options that are a refreshing change from the usual village coffee shop offerings. Also I absolutely love all the diary alternatives that they offer and so nice not to be charged extra for choosing coconut milk. Will carry on recommending people to visit”

“Visited in the morning with a friend for some breakfast. We ordered the English breakfast and the desi one. Both were very hearty. A very warm welcome from the staff, service was great and overall a lovely place. Will definitely recommend and I'll coming back again. We finished off with dessert. A peanut butter stack and the chocolate churros all freshly made really enjoyed it. Huge thank you and well done to the staff x All the best x ❤”

“Called at Secret Sip but it was shut. Sign on the door said if closed try courtyard around back. Went around to the back and sure enough there was a courtyard and it was buzzing. Mainly long tables inside but quite roomy. Bigger than it looks from first approach. Looks like they have pop up restaurants here. Pizza the previous week and Thai on our visit. Reasonable prices but didn't try coz going for a meal to Mazzos. Quite a few beers usually but on our visit they had almost been drunk dry over the bank holiday weekend. Did try a pint of Pelaton and it was superb. Will be back just for that one beer. Staff very friendly and approachable.”

“An awesome place with superb grub. I had The Houston burger with added brisket and pickles. Really nice thick juicy patty and high quality bacon & brisket. Just the right amount of sauce too. The bun was light but also held firm with the filling. The iron brew chicken fries were also delicious. Not a big fan of regular fries but these were crisp, fresh and well seasoned. Huge portion too! I also had tasty bbq beans and some refreshing coleslaw to cap a brilliant tray of food. A delightful experience in a quirky establishment with terrific friendly staff. Highly recommend trying it for yourselves.”

Chris and his partner the owners really nice down to earth people, if your in Uppermill pls go find this lovely lil hidden cafe entrance is on the front and go downstairs really well appointed estab sit on the river and forget about the daily grind also some under canope seating if the weather's not the best.”
