“Great pub to drink in. The last 2 reviews were customers who had gone in for free drinks every day. Landlady with the blueish hair had tried to explain to them that it was one free drink per week for regular customers and they took offence. The landlady and the 2 girls who were working the bar were doing a great job with the covid rules and tried their hardest to meet everyones demands.”

“Visited today with my young son and couldn't be happier with the food and the service. I had the gammon which was very juicy, very well cooked and was nice and hot and my son had the lasagna with chips, salad and garlic bread which was very well presented and again, nice and hot. The portions were large and top quality food. Highly recommended. We didn't even have to wait too long. We also wanted to thank Georgia and Aneeka for looking after us, they came to our table on more than one occasion to make sure we were happy and if we wanted anything else. Assets to the team!! We will definitely be returning very soon. Thank you so much. Very enjoyable. Keep up the good work x”

“Beautiful food, my partner had a stack I went for surf and turf... Very nice.... They was a little under staffed due to ill staff,,, it was a Friday night! The young lady that seated us made us welcome and explained their situation...... We only waited 15 to order food was their in ample time and cooked to perfection...... Worthy of a visit if your in the area.”

“My husband and I love this place! We have never had a bad experience, the staff are lovely and super helpful. I recommend pre-ordering and collecting as they can be very busy but the food is most definitely worth the wait. We will not go anywhere else. We even buy food and take it to our relatives who live an hour away as it's far better than anywhere else even after travelling and reheating. 10/10 recommend.”

“Great night out but last night all of my friends & me threw up? No one in my group ever get that bad? Was it the cheap drinks? Not quite sure but we all got incredibly ill with headaches and feeling really down a couple hours after drinking in the club. There was 6 of us and we all puked & felt terrible. We are all in our mid 20's and can all handle our drinks so something was definitely wrong last night? Anyways. Apart from that it's a goodnight out, might avoid the cheap drinks from now on.”

“Had a few men being a bit pervy and making me and my friends uncomfortable, staff including Abdul I think his name was, on the door were absolutely amazing at intervening, getting rid of the men and then checking we were comfortable. A few female bar staff also checked in regularly afterward and it was so appreciated. Everyone who worked Fri 16 July - thank you and well done!!!”
