The Old School BBQ Bus
● ClosedAlford Street, Hollinwood, Chadderton, Oldham OL9 7LP, United Kingdom“An awesome place with superb grub. I had The Houston burger with added brisket and pickles. Really nice thick juicy patty and high quality bacon & brisket. Just the right amount of sauce too. The bun was light but also held firm with the filling. The iron brew chicken fries were also delicious. Not a big fan of regular fries but these were crisp, fresh and well seasoned. Huge portion too! I also had tasty bbq beans and some refreshing coleslaw to cap a brilliant tray of food. A delightful experience in a quirky establishment with terrific friendly staff. Highly recommend trying it for yourselves.”

-
AO Arena
● Open“Saw Roxy Music here, very good staffing and signage to find our seats and the other facilities for food and merchandise. We parked at the Printworks which is a few minutes walk away, but is quicker to get out of than the Arena car park when there is a big concert. The seats are okay but the legroom is not massive if you are a bit taller, so maybe consider getting a seat at the front of the block if so. I booked my tickets on Ticketmaster which was very good, I could check out where the seats were and even what the view would be like. I went for seats in block 210 row B, so up towards the back, and I was glad the screens were very good, because I couldn't really see what was going on on the stage very clearly, but then, I don't have brilliant eyesight so it might be me. The sound was very good, properly loud and dynamic, but not so much that my ears were left ringing like some gigs I've been to in small clubs. Overall, a modern venue, professionally run, and well designed.”

O2 Apollo
● Open“It was my first visit to the O2 Apollo Manchester, I thought it was great, like stepping back in time to an old Cinema, I was sat at the very back, last but one row. The sound was great, the Nick Masons sauce full of Secrets was great, the staff were great. There were two negatives, security were going to refuse me entry because they thought I was drunk, I was able to explain I had a health issue, but it was OK for folk to get drunk inside, seated near me some folk were getting up during the show to get beer maybe 8 or 10 times, nearly falling down the steps, I thought that once the show started we should have remained seated, showsome respect to the Act and to fellow audience. I did not let it spoil my evening, I still had a great time.”
