“Nice pleasant gym/spa with a swimming pool and squash courts could do with a cafe as a way of bringing in more money for them as its charitable run .very friendly staff with a good range of classes from keep fit to yoga and self defence .”

“I was recently recommended to this jewellers by a friend who knew I was looking for a new engagement ring. We were introduced to Joseph who took the time to show us some rings, all exceptional quality, but not what I had in mind, so he suggested he could design and make the ring of my choice. I was completely blown away by the finished piece, it was outstanding, even better than I had planned. It has received lots of comments about its sparkle and plenty of admiration. So impressed that we then bought earrings for valentines day. “Excellent service from arrival at 5.45am to our return two and a half weeks later at 8pm. Fast efficient transfer to and from the airport and Chris and Karen are very friendly and accommodation. Highly recommended and will be using them in the future. You feel far more confident with your car under their stewardship rather than leaving it at the airport with the chance of the vehicle being damaged or broken into.”

Can recommend manicures, pedicures, great facials and massages as well as eye brow threading and eye lash tint and a host of other treatments as well. All staff excellent and friendly. Relaxing experiences and a pleasure to go for ‘the must’ treatments. Not expensive and good value.”

“Outstanding service, and eye for design, and an absolutely beautiful range of sofas and fabrics. I visited the shop numerous times in October, armed with photos, and paint charts!! Emma was brilliant and completely understood what I was looking for. She came up with several different options in different colour ways and prices, samples also arrived really quickly, along with answers to questions and additional inspiration for cushions and footstools. Cannot recommend highly enough!!”

“First of all, a big thanks to Nanette for such a brilliant day! My partner booked the birds of prey experience for both of us as a Valentines Day gift and it was full of knowledge and fun! It was easy to see how much passion Nanette has for wildlife which we admired and we even put to bed any bad opinions on vultures as Nanette wanted to showcase how these birds are actually quite funny and interesting regarding how they have their place in disease prevention in third world countries. There are so many birds here and all are beautiful and have their own character. Thanks again for such a great knowledgeable day and we’ll definitely be back soon for the Meerkat experience! “Lots to see and do at Quarry Bank. Plenty of picnic benches for packed lunches, accessible toilet and baby change facilities were good. My 6 year old enjoyed completing the Easter egg hunt and I thought the gardens were magnificent. Good family day out.”

“We have used the pet boarding for our two guinea pigs several times and would never use anyone else. Tanya is amazing with the animals and they are looked after exceptionally well. The extra services are also great as the piggies usually come back smelling and looking fab!”

“I like it here. A medium sized pond with a view up to the hills, on a quiet gravel road. Sometimes the cows come down to the water's edge, or the mist makes the whole scene gorgeous. Mallards, tufted ducks, coots, the occasional goosander, heron and kingfisher. Flocks of geese in the fields often. Swans nest here in the summer.”
