“This is a smaller toy store than the ones I used to go to with my children but it has a massive selection of toys, condensed into the space perfectly. It's nice to be able to get in and out in minutes instead of hours. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful and know exactly where everything is. 10/10 recommend.”

My baby loves the sessions so much all the lights, songs and activities. Natalie & Michelle are just amazing and so lovely in class. “Wonderful place for kids, we went for a birthday party which little one loved. I have been to a few of these over the years and this is probably the cleanest I have seen. There is lots of seating for parents and you can also order food if you wish. There was a separate section upstairs for party groups to eat etc. This has a rather lovely view being in Marple Stockport which is quite leafy. Worth a visit to let the children run amok for a few hours.”

“Having lived in Vietnam for several years and experienced the expat scene there where chefs from all around the world have opened award winning pizza restaurants, I come back to Marple to visit this place and realise it is better than them all! Outstanding pizza! I would especially recommend 'The Sizzler'.”

“I started at Bates as soon as a turned 3 and I can’t recommend the dance school enough. Bates became a second home to me, like it does all the girls and the teachers can’t do enough for you. The quality of the dance shows every year are amazing and the opportunities Miss Julie provides for all the children are amazing. Bates won’t only provide you with amazing dance lessons but friends who become family too.”

“Surprised to see reviews regarding customer service, our experiences here have always been fantastic. Staff are really helpful, always been greeted with a smile on arrival etc. Rules and layout of sessions are clearly given to make the session run smoothly. Amazing range of facilities, usually you would have to choose between a play centre or trampoline park whereas they have both here. Food is very reasonably priced too which is always a plus. Definitely recommend”

“Former Rileys snooker and pool hall. Abandoned since 2012. Very smelly, extremely mouldy, lots of dead pigeons. Some tables still playable on ground floor but basement flooded. Bring own lighting as no electricity. Interesting original features of old cinema still visible.”

“Amazing theatre school with a fun, positive, diverse and inclusive ethos. With the most caring and supportive staff My sons have been going to Chestnut Theatre School for 6 years. They absolutely love it. They have so much fun as well as learning a range of drama skills. They have thrived under the support of Sarah and her team who have such a wonderful way of nurturing and supporting young people to bring out the best in them. My boys have grown so much in confidence. The range of activities/games and learning they do with chestnuts keeps them busy and engaged, They have taken part in numerous shows and showcases which they really enjoy. What I really like about chestnuts is that they will always work at the pace of your child. They are not pushy. If your child is shy/and quiet (my youngest one was for the longest time) that's ok there is still a space for them at chestnuts. They wont get lost in the crowd as every child is made to feel like star. And as a mum its really important for me that the clubs my kids go to a not just educational but are fun, positive and supportive. And chestnuts definitely is. 5stars!!”

“She is my neighbour. She is a very lovely person. Front garden is packed with lots of toys and educational info for kids. Her house is closed distance to park and therefore regular visits to the park in nice days in order. If I had a child she was the one and only one I trust to look after my kid.”

“Small but well equipped and managed soft play centre. The space is used really well so that parents can see the kids at (nearly) all times and there is enough for the kids to play on that they can be really exhausted! Staff are great, and (as it's next to a pub) the facilities are great.”

“My child has been attending dance classes here for over 5 years. Very professional and friendly. Lots of opportunities to perform. Also booked them for a children's party and they were amazing. Best party entertainers we've ever booked. Definitely recommend.”
