We tried a lot of dishes and I can say that this is definitely a higher end Indian, not drowned in sauces, these dishes were well balanced, full of flavour and spiced well. “I’ve recently moved to Cheadle and I’m trying to navigate its many options for a goody night out. Many from the area recommend Yara. Fortunately, it lived up to the hype. The evening was a happy occasion, with visiting family from Yorkshire, and the staff & food made it a wonderful evening. Just enough attention was given to us by the staff, who left us to enjoy our food. Which was all wonderful; the hummus dip starter might have been the best hummus I’ve ever had; creamy and rich and to die for. The option to bring your own booze was also a welcome addition, helping to lead to a very reasonable final bill.”

“The food is always good quality, it seems to have become a little bit more expensive than our last visit. £15 a Tandoori Mixed grill, mains around £13 with rice extra. The staff were helpful and attentive and alcohol prices reasonable for a restaurant. Top marks for getting the No Fresh Coriander right and for pointing out that one of the relishes had coriander leaves in it. Prices still the same, so relatively cheaper! Still the same quality and friendly staff.”

“I had heard from family that this place was the place to go for a curry. I came in with pretty high expectations. Those expectations were easily exceeded. The restaurant is beautiful decorated, the hello upon arrival and the smiling friendly service was fantastic. The food was of high quality and the price considering the quality of food is very reasonable. Our waiter Amin is a credit to the restaurant, 10/10 service. We will see you again soon.”

Theres dining upstairs and downstairs and staff are really friendly, we ordered all the fresh grilled starters, curries, lamb chops etc! The lamb chops was to die for! Highly recommend. “Went here for a family dinner. At first it didn't give authentic street food feel. Until it started getting served. The food, the taste, the appearance, the smell, everything was fresh. It tasted beautiful. Full of flavours. The dosa definitely hit the spot. And so did everything else. Friendly staff who recommends only the items suiting your palate. Had a good time here. “This place is my go-to Indian in Manchester/ Greater Manchester. The quality, portion size and taste of food plus the level of customer service I've had regardless of whether I've gone in a group of two or twenty (I've done both and would do again) is unmatched by any other place I've been to. I recently had their banquet set menu in a group of 20. Not one of us could find fault in any of our dishes, which were very generous and tasted absolutely delicious. Can't wait to come back!”

“As a veteran of eating in Indian restaurants I have to say Dilshad is a great discovery. Elaborate menu with so many dishes I’ve never seen before (which is really unusual). I’m slowly working my way through them when I’m in Manchester and it feels being 18 again trying things for the first time! The food is excellent: amazing tasting, good sized portions and not overpriced. The staff are friendly and the restaurant looks and feels as you expect.”

“This place has excellent food. I think the flavors are incredible! I was a bit disappointed the last time I went to see they had removed some craft cocktails from the menu because in combination with the food it was awesome… but it’s still great even without the drinks. I strong recommend the Lamb Chops, they are very tasty, even if you aren’t big on Lamb, it’s very well flavored. Always get some garlic naan! And another favorite is the chicken tika! Parking can be tricky in the area but there is a paid parking lot right behind the Restaurant if you want to make it simpler :)”

“In the morning I was craving for Chana Poori and decided to try this new place called Sam's Jalebi. I have tried their Jalebi in the past which is so delicious. This time I ordered a portion of Chana Poori. The portion includes 3 poori, Chana curry with potatoes and a sweet halwa. Everything was very tasty. It wasn't heavy at all as the poori was very thin & fluffy. They also gave some picked onion and mint sauce. I also tried their Desi Tea/Chai which nice too. I tried Jalebi again which always very thin, crisp and delicious. This place has a seating capacity of approximately 30-40 people They make fresh Jalebi everytime they get order. If you are reading this review and you like Asian dishes then you should definitely try this place. Sharing few pics”

“Home to Mithai. Best Mithai in the UK hands down. I have been eating Ambala for almost 2 Decades. I have been and tried everywhere nothing comes close. New fitting from when I last visited the Manchester branch great display/decor very fresh and great selection of sweets. Staff were friendly”
