Euronics
“Needed a new fridge freezer and decided to shop local. So glad I did, friendly staff, great selection and only five minutes from where I live. Not only that it was free delivery and only £10 to take my old one away. The two men delivering my new fridge freezer were brilliant, they didn't just deliver it, they put it in my kitchen and made sure it was working. Will definitely go back there again next time I need something.”
ALDI
“Good produce for affordable prices. Never really any queues during the afternoon, but the evening rush-hour can be busy - although it's not as bad now that they've got the new Self Checkout.”
Lidl
“Our local Lidl is great. The staff are always friendly and the shop is always super clean.”
Dobry Sklep
“Good choice of regional polish food. Even they have loyal points card. Helpful staff also. Great taste polish beer that's why you should go there.”
Polmart
“Pol Mart is a Polish mini market and it's very accessible, just wish I understood the language. I go in quite regularly. The staff that can't speak English are just as helpful as those who can. They sell a lot of different cooked meats and cooked fish. I buy whole smoked Mackerel, kabanos and other items. They even have a small oven and they bake small white buns. There is a wide variety of Polish breads,Rye, blackbread etc. For the more self indulgent they have a variety of stunning cakes, fresh vegetables and the biggest Garlic bulbs I've ever bought, twice the size of supermarket variety. I love this store and there are many products I can't tell what they are but staff will willingly help and explain. Every visit is an adventure, highly recommended if you want to get away from mass produced foods in the local supermarkets.”
Home Bargains
“Staff always welcoming one of the best shops left in Eccles. Can your daily bits and snack for lunch. Good alternative to Aldi. Never too busy so can be in and out.”
Morrisons
“I was at the market kitchen pizza place and the customer service was immaculate. The nice chef, Lewis, made me and my mother a very delicious meat feast pizza and im sure i will go home and enjoy the extra cheese he was so generous to add. Mother normally shops at this Morrisons and it is an incredible experience. The bakery section smells heavenly and truly makes me hungry. Back when the food sections were just opened, one of the many kind employees were so generous to ask me for a job and it was unfortunate i had to turn it down. The waffle sticks are amazing and are a treat to those anywhere. This Morrisons is possibly the best supermarket in the area and I am proud to say so.”
Select & Save
“Friendly staff ,I always have a bit of a natter when I'm there, reasonably priced goods, can't fault it”
Tesco Esso Express
“I mainly go for my parcel delivery but it's got a well stocked array of food items and other items that you would buy from a larger store.”
Costcutter
“Very good place to shop for groceries and post office services”
