“Been for a prostate biopsy today. I had been seriously dreading the proceedure. I have to say the team under Professor Andrew Sinclair were superb. All the staff I interfaced with were kind and careing and put me at ease. They communicated with me all the time and explained what was going to happen which made a massive positive impact on my experience. My dreaded fear was unjustified and I cannot thank the team enough for the treatment and care I received. I can highly recommend the Stepping Hill urolpgy dept. Incidently, the lady who answers the phone calls when you ring the department is excellent. She gets back to you with answers every time you ring. Thanks again.”

I was kept fully informed on what was happening with regards to physio, equipment needed by the o.t. and what would happen after discharge. Thank you could not fault my stay there at all.”

“The advice I received from the physio at kingsgate has helped me get my life back on track after I was diagnosed with a degenerative miniscus tear. He clearly explained my problem and has helped me to see that maintaining a simple exercise program my mobility can improve. Although I may have flare ups I now know how to deal with my condition to live a relative active life. Physiotherapy exercises mean no need for surgery and they do work, An excellent service combined with advice from First contact physio at my GP practice.”

“I've been going to Pace for years and they're brilliant, such nice and friendly staff throughout, prosthetics are top quality. Don't believe the 1 star review, if you have a problem with a prosthetic that isn't your own fault they don't make you pay. I've had 4 or 5 different prosthetics each with there own problems because every persons amputation is different there's no 1 fit solution that works for everyone. Highly recommend as they get you sorted A.S.A.P.”

“I recently moved to this doctors practice when I moved to heaton Moor, and such a better practice. First off all the receptionists are always so friendly and helpful don’t make me feel intimidated like I’m making there job more stressful than it already is which made me feel welcome straight away. Every appointment I have made I have been seen to on time, never experienced long wait times ever. The doctors I have seen in this practice generally seem to care and take their time even though I’m sure they are so busy and stressed, they don’t want to give you a quick answer and then fob you off to see their next patient they see to all your questions and concerns in a kind way. There is one doctor in particular I don’t know his name yet, but one thing that made me really respect him and know he is a great doctor is, I made a appointment to talk about my hormonal acne and he gave me so many options that he thought would be a good option to deal with my issue, he understood my hopelessness of trying everything and was honest with me about all the options. He then proceeded to ask how my mental health was doing which no doctor has ever asked or checked up on with me after my recent diagnosis or new medications which I also understand with how busy and overworked our health care system is - he cared and took the time to explain my new medication how it works the scientific structure of it and if I needed any support with it which lifted me and made me trust in our doctors again specifically when it comes mental health.”
