In conclusion IKEA Manchester is the place to be for shopping and a way to have a nice day out.”

Emma was brilliant and completely understood what I was looking for. She came up with several different options in different colour ways and prices, samples also arrived really quickly, along with answers to questions and additional inspiration for cushions and footstools. “Honestly have to say that this is probably the best craft store I’ve ever been to - and it was a random discovery on a day trip to Manchester. I’m used to Hobbycraft and the occasional trip to CassArt (not something we have in Nottingham) but I have to say that I’ve never seen Procion dyes for sale anywhere else. The gift ideas on the first floor were fun, I saw some things I’ve not seen for years, but the treasure trove downstairs was great. Interesting selection of craft books, paracord in nice bright colours, three different types of fabric dyes, quilling paper, spraycans, all the scissors your crafty little heart could desire, a great notice board with workshops etc on it by the stairs etc etc. And that’s really just the tip of the iceberg. Maybe slightly short on the amount of cross stitching threads, but most places are and despite this had a good selection of embroidery hoops.”

“From Terry's design, which made full and imaginative use of the space in our small kitchen, to the installation by Paul on the agreed date in spite of freezing treacherous conditions, to the finishing touch by Wayne when I made a last minute addition to what I wanted, this was all a very positive experience. We are on the second floor with no lift, but none of that deterred this team from doing a fantastic job. I can't recommend them too much. There might be slightly cheaper kitchens out there, but these are excellent value and look great.”

The manager Chris was so friendly and helpful and even provided us with rope to tie the boot down (the chair is rather big!). Another staff member called Shayan really went above and beyond and was stood with us in the pouring rain helping us get the chair securely into our car.
