The progress that was made in 1 month of weekly sessions with a Psychologist was unbelievable compared to the regression that had occurred being under the care of CAMHS for 9 years! Camhs had said my autistic child wasn't suitable for therapy, that it wouldn't be useful and that he couldn't engage. I'm so very glad we were able to turn things around for him with the genuine and individualised support he received at The Room's as soon as they took him under their wing. I feel very blessed that someone is finally helping my son with the overwhelming challenges he faced and at the same time feel deeply sorry for all those other young people who are being left without the support and therapy they need in the NHS Children's Mental Health service in this country.
