“The hotel could do with some updating however there are no real complaints with my stay. Ample room in the car park, the cooked breakfast was made to order with no restrictions on quantities and the staff were beyond helpful, friendly and accommodating. Check-in is normally 3pm however I needed the room sooner due to a wedding and they were happy to accommodate us. Would stay again if i needed somewhere to rest after a night out.”

“I was very apprehensive of booking umrah with a toddler and from day one I was reassured by brother Amr how he would coordinate most of the trip to give least stress to myself. I can absolutely confirm this umrah experience during Feb half term 2023 was thoroughly organised well by Mayar travel and everything went smoothly alhamdulila. I had no hassle at any of the hotels for check in as brother Amr had organised the rooms in advance and to be ready. The airport service was greatly organised and having a driver was very convenient. I was able to focus on my umrah and toddler and had a great sense of peace knowing brother Amr was a WhatsApp message away for any support and help. “THE WAY HAJJ AND UMRAH SHOULD BE DONE! I went to Umrah in the last 10 days of Ramadhan through Hissar Travel. I dealt with brother Salih who helped me and guided me along each step. I had a hassle & stress free experience from start to finish. I had my transfers from airport to hotel and Madinah to Makkah arranged with out any struggle. Hissar Travel was in touch with me through the trip and had english speaking guides which was really helpful. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!”

“I'd initially booked a two week jaunt to South Africa for my Dads 60th and after months of uncertainty we got the call that it couldn't go ahead. Despite this, Black Opal had stayed in touch throughout the entire experience, reassuring us that they would do everything in their power to make it happen. Alas, it was out of their hands. Black Opal quickly arranged an alternative trip to Murrayfield to at least watch the Lions on home soil and what a day it was, we saw all of the players board the buses prior to playing and a stellar 3 course meal with guest speakers. We had great seats and the atmosphere was as good as we could of expected. Black Opal accommodated a payment method they did not previously accept for me to pay for the entire trip and we got great rates for the initial trip to South Africa and the revised trip to Edinburgh. I'd not used a travel operator before, but I can assure you reading this and Black Opal I do not intend to go elsewhere ever again for sports excursions. Special mention to Ben Collis for the initial handling of my enquiry but my utmost thanks and appreciation goes to Kathryn Morris who was instrumental in the handling of our initial trip when it was in limbo and arranging our trip to Edinburgh. I cannot recommend this group enough.”

“Had my daughters 4th birthday here a week ago and it was brilliant! The staff were wonderful, extremely helpful and nothing was too much trouble. All the kids had a lovely time and it was very stress free for me. Can’t recommend them enough!”

“Would 100% recommend. Really good value for money, premises and bedroom/bathroom/showers all spotless. Bed sheets clean and very obviously freshly dressed. Garden beautiful. Just wished our plans gave us the opportunity to enjoy the premises for longer. Would definitely recommend opting in for the breakfast, fantastic value for money and the owner was very keen to cater for personal or dietary needs. Very welcoming.”

“Lovely walk round denzal gardens. Very friendly place to walk whist with your fury friend. Beautiful setting to catch up with other walkers. Benches so you can sit a chat and a pond to sit round”

“If you feel like reminding your taste buds how a great dinner taste like, you should definitely come here. The menu is an explosion of flavors and I enjoyed every single bit. The mélange of ingredients is astonishing. Great selection of wines, including a Sicilian Grillo which I enjoyed a lot. The service is punctual and polite ( I was helped by Rafael) and the bill surprisingly fair! I will come again whenever I can.”

“A really wonderful nursery. New build with lots of spaces indoors and a really big and beautiful outdoor garden, the biggest we've seen in nearby nurseries. The ethos is great and the staff are all knowledgeable and friendly. By definition of a childcare facility, it really gives children the care they deserve.”
