Balchão Restaurant (www.balchao.co.uk)
“Lovely restaurant- really well prepared, thoughtfully cooked food. I’ve been twice now in August 2022, the quality is consistent - really nice taste to everything. Just a little pricey (it is Hale I suppose).”
Manchester Craft and Design Centre
“A great place! Here you can find a lot of different small shops. Everything is handmade. You can buy a special and unique gifts here. I really suggest this place to everyone who loves find something different. You can also have a break in the coffee shop inside the building. Really really nice.”
Opera House Manchester
“Very well organised. Nice and clean. Disabled access was good. Bar drink code was adequate and refreshments were available. Excellent idea of being able to order drinks for the interim period so you could just pick them up. Toilets were superbly clean. Such a grand place to visit and experience.”
Corn Exchange Manchester
“Vibrant area with plenty of restaurants. Arndale centre towers adjacent to the corn exchange which does not have a dedicated car park. Parking can be a nightmare for first timers. The adjacent shopping malls offer paid parking at a premium so allow some time to navigate the maze of road works, one way streets and the short walk to your destination.”
The Oast House Bar & Restaurant
“Good outside sitting area. Delicious food. No great beer options (and most were off). Bit expensive.”
The Courthouse Restaurant & Bar
“Came Saturday 3rd December for our Christmas do. We all had food and drinks. It was very busy so our food was miss ordered but once it came it was out of this world. Most of us had loaded fries. Because of the delay we got a discount. The food prices were really reasonable. Would definitely recommend.”
Samuel Alexander Building
“Magnificent building, part of the faculty of arts from the University of Manchester”
The Hallmark Manchester

Overall a very pleasant experience, hence the 5 stars. Thank you.”

Ye Olde Vic

Swaadesh
“We often order from here for our Saturday night take away, lovely food, fresh, piping hot and delivered in fantastic time”
The Lime Kiln Cafe
“Fantastic place to enjoy a bite to eat with beautiful views, delectable dishes and wonderful and upbeat staff. Well worth a visit and right on the canal, a gem on the outside of the village. If you're travelling by car there's not much parking so try to find somewhere nearby or park in the village and walk down the canal. The were a good selection of choices available on the menu including a comprehensive number of drinks to choose from all for reasonable prices. It appears to be a popular destination but they do have plenty of tables so you may have a short wait but it's worth it. Outside by the canal most of the seating is for 2 people but there are a couple of tables for bigger groups on the side and out front. Inside there are plenty of tables, upstairs has great views. The staff were very friendly and eager to please. We will definitely be returning!”
The Roebuck Inn
“I come here now and again, the food is pretty good and reasonably priced. The beer garden is great, it has amazing sunsets and a nice play area”
Sasso
“Amazing food, the wine is delicious too. Awesome service, very kind waiters. Will definitely come back when visiting the UK.”
The Red Fort, Cheadle Hulme
“Came for the first time tonight and really enjoyed it, could not fault it at all, the service was lovely and very polite, and the food was really nice, the best curry I’ve had without a doubt, would definitely recommend”
Harvey Leonard's Wine & Ale
“Well, where do I start. It’s great here. Great but… Just a few negatives. Or development points - Only 1 free pint. Pitiful. - my drinking partner made me hurry my drink. I’ll drink when I’m ready. - not enough staff smelled of disinfectant - the noise was too ambient - it wasn’t overpriced enough - the mistletoe was too high - too many urinal cakes - the lady with grey beard behind the bar had a ‘ghost of Christmas past’ vibe Other than that a really pleasant experience. The right amount of gas and stemmed beer glasses too. 6 out of 5 for me.”
The Waggon At Birtle
“Very nice meal and staff very accommodating. A really nice evening out!”
Ancoats Coffee Co.
“Amazing cafe, the staff is friendly, I recommend people to visit and try their coffee. the smell of roasting coffee beans is fascinating. I tried Flat white.”

“Absolutely amazing. I don't know of a comparable bakery in the Brooklyn New York metro where I live. I had the twist and the cinnamon bun.”
The Spring Vale Inn
“Super pub, a proper local. Only place in Chadderton town centre where you can get a good pint of real ale. Great friendly atmosphere too. The “Khartoum” is back to what it always was, the best pub in the area.”
