“Really nice guys and owners, especially the ones working at the back in the meat section. We were new to the area and came across their shop by chance. When we went in to ask them about their meat, they were kind enough to give us a free box of marinated chicken for stir fry. We’ve just cooked it now, and it was the best chicken stir fry we’ve ever had. Miles better than what you would get at a takeaway. Ingredients and spices were all fresh, none of the pre-packaged sauces or spices. More than happy to come back and buy our meat from here and definitely try other stuff too.”

The standout dish for me was their Pad Thai, which was not only beautifully presented but packed with a perfect balance of sweet, sour and spicy flavours. The stir-fried noodles were perfectly cooked and combined with a delicious sauce and a generous serving of juicy prawns, vegetables and peanuts. It was simply divine. The Green Curry, which was a true flavour explosion in my mouth. The creamy, spicy sauce was infused with the bold flavours of lemongrass, ginger and basil, and the tender chicken was cooked to perfection. It was a true feast for the senses. I was also impressed by the warm and friendly service at Chilli Banana. Chilli Banana is a fantastic Thai takeaway that offers delicious food, great service, and a warm and inviting atmosphere.
