“I was recommended Chris Bramah (Extra Mile Health) by my running coach. Prior to Chris’s treatment I had suffered constantly with hypermobility syndrome. This was made worse by running - which I loved. I was in constant pain every day and found day to day tasks challenging. I went to Chris as a last resort, in the hope that I could live relatively pain free. What I did not expect was that after a few months of treatment/working alongside Chris in the gym, I would to be back running and running better than before! One of the qualities of Chris that sets him above any physiotherapists I have previously seen is his ability to solve extremely complex injuries. He puts it into terms that are easy to understand, and he will take you through the biomechanics. It’s clear that Chris is passionate about his job and cares about the individuals he treats. I attend appointments with Chris regularly. This can be a mixture of treatment or gym work, all of which have been valuable in keeping me pain free. I have had a personalised strength and conditioning plan put together ensuring I’m keeping my body strong. I always look forward to my appointments with Chris as it’s an opportunity to learn, improve and adapt.”

“My husband visited the Burnley clinic after having severe sciatica pain for several weeks. He was able to book a fast appointment within a few days. The service was fantastic from start to finish. Dr Akhtar was very professional and put him at ease. He was very thorough and got straight to the problem which was a slipped disc on the sciatic nerve. After the initial consultation my husband went back for a spinal injection. He found it was better to have a few days rest off work to enable recovery. Bed rest and gentle excercises every hour helped. We would definitely recommend Dr Akhtar and his team. Thank you”

“I first met Mr Kim in November 2018 when I started to have extreme pain in my right hip. He discussed all my options with me and carried out a hip replacement in Feb 2019. His care, compassion and professionalism throughout the process and the following 12 months was world class. Mr Kim truly cares about his patients and has a wonderful style of communication that shows he truly understands how you are feeling as his patient. I developed degenerative osteoarthritis in my left hip the following year and he suggested we treat that with steroid injections until such point as surgery was necessary. Mr Kim carried out a hip replacement in February 2022 and this time recommended the robotic option and I am happy to say that as we approach 6 months post-op my new hip is working perfectly. I would highly recommend Mr Kim and cannot end this review without mentioning his amazing secretary, Shabnam, who is friendly, efficient and very caring.”

“I would have given more stars if that was possible! I received superb treatment from Dafydd Rees today. I was in acute pain and had already seen another physio yesterday which didn't help. Dafydd very quickly understood the issue and the treatment he gave me was like magic. I am a lot better now (and that is only after one session!) Thanks a lot Dafydd! “Awesome experience! I was suffering from ED and Azoospermia since last 2 years. I met several urologists/andrologists and they had conflicting views about the actual reason behind it. I never felt confident to get treatment from them. Finally, I met Dr. Vaibhav Modgil and he explained to me clearly the reason behind the problem and how he can help us in planning a baby. He performed a surgical sperm retrieval (micro-TESE) for me and recovered a good amount of sperm for my wife's IVF/ICSI. I was also suffering from prepetual adhesions for which he performed a minor procedure to divide them and make them normal too. His confidence and patient-friendly approach made us feel overwhelmed. “Had a very easy process getting my antigen test for my return to the US. Both gentleman were very professional and helpful, in giving me directions to their small clinic (only a few blocks away from the Whitefield Tram station), scheduling my test, and getting my results back to me in less that 1 hours time. Huge sense of relief about my negative test and easy process!”

“The last few years I've had hell with getting my child the care needed. The consultant dr dixit couldn't of been more helpful if he tried, advice was given and actioned and has resulted in a new treatment path for my child. I'm extremely greatful for the talk and outside clinical point of view which was very much needed. I will certainly be back if we need any kind of assessments in the future. “I had always wanted to improve the look of my teeth. A few years before I’d already done Invisalign braces, which worked initially but I didn’t realise that I’d have to wear the retainers for the rest of my days. Unfortunately I didn’t wear them, so they went wonky again. My decision to go down the route of veneers was not one I took lightly. After a lot of research I knew I was making the right decision with Dr Joe Oliver. He is an absolute subject matter expert in the area of cosmetic dentistry with over 25+ years experience. This instantly reassured me, knowing that this all he focuses on day in day out ! My initial call with the wonderful Kerstie both put me at ease but most importantly gave me the confidence to proceed with the £85 consultation. I was excited when I left the initial visit with Dr Oliver with a picture of how it could look. We discussed all options, but I knew that veneers were the way forward for me. I was even more pleased that it wasn’t as many initial teeth as I thought ! The procedure wasn’t as painful as I expected. I’ll be honest, it took some time, a lot of noise but no real pain !!! The outcome was a set of temporaries that gave a great impression of what was to come. I wish I had known then how much better the final veneers were going to be ! They are one set vs separate veneers that you get at the final stage. The great thing is this gives you time to work out what you like, or what you’d like to tweak, and then you discuss what colour you want your final veneers to be. Dr Oliver was really accessible by phone / email to discuss any amends. The final veneers were such a move forward from the temporaries and looked fantastic. It’s not like braces where you have time to adjust so be prepared for the big reveal in one go. Amazing !! I have been really impressed with the post care. Dr Oliver ensured that any adjustments that were required were dealt with as soon as possible, and I’ve always managed to see him in Manchester or London. I could not be more delighted with my new smile, especially when people don’t notice because it’s so natural, or when they do and I eagerly show them the before and after pictures! “This is a fantastic rehabilitation centre! It has everything you need all under one roof for every part of your rehabilitation and onwards. It is fully accessible for all disabilities. I can't rate this place highly enough for everything they do. The staff are so welcoming, friendly and supportive. It has a WRVS cafe which is open until 2pm each day. Free Wifi Offer transport services for appointments. Which you do need to book in advance. This centre offers: Specialist Rehabilitation Doctors, Nurses, Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Prosthetists, Orthotists Postual Care Specialists and Counselling. Physiotherapy Gym, Wheelchair services, Occupational Therapy, Prosthetics & Orthotics - casting and fitting rooms for both children and adults, Rehabilitation Counselling. The Manchester Prosthetic User Association and Manchester Wheelchair User Group are based here to offer Peer to Peer support to the centre's users. It also has a great resource area with lots of information and event details from numerous charities - Wheel Power, Limbless Association, Limb Power, Blesma, Reach, MacMillan Cancer Support, ManFit, Age UK, LimbCare and many more. The Ability Matters Store is here too, which stocks disability aids and equipment. The lovely staff can help you find exactly what you need to make your daily routine easier. Plus plenty of accessible car-parking.”

“We had to visit recently with our little girl and the service was incredible. We were quickly seen by the triage nurse and didn’t wait very long to then be seen by a doctor. The waiting room had a TV playing children’s films and was really colourful and engaging - a nice environment for children to be in during potentially scary times. The NHS is amazing!”
