“I had always wanted to improve the look of my teeth. A few years before I’d already done Invisalign braces, which worked initially but I didn’t realise that I’d have to wear the retainers for the rest of my days. Unfortunately I didn’t wear them, so they went wonky again. My decision to go down the route of veneers was not one I took lightly. After a lot of research I knew I was making the right decision with Dr Joe Oliver. He is an absolute subject matter expert in the area of cosmetic dentistry with over 25+ years experience. This instantly reassured me, knowing that this all he focuses on day in day out ! My initial call with the wonderful Kerstie both put me at ease but most importantly gave me the confidence to proceed with the £85 consultation. I was excited when I left the initial visit with Dr Oliver with a picture of how it could look. We discussed all options, but I knew that veneers were the way forward for me. I was even more pleased that it wasn’t as many initial teeth as I thought ! The procedure wasn’t as painful as I expected. I’ll be honest, it took some time, a lot of noise but no real pain !!! The outcome was a set of temporaries that gave a great impression of what was to come. I wish I had known then how much better the final veneers were going to be ! They are one set vs separate veneers that you get at the final stage. The great thing is this gives you time to work out what you like, or what you’d like to tweak, and then you discuss what colour you want your final veneers to be. Dr Oliver was really accessible by phone / email to discuss any amends. The final veneers were such a move forward from the temporaries and looked fantastic. It’s not like braces where you have time to adjust so be prepared for the big reveal in one go. Amazing !! I have been really impressed with the post care. Dr Oliver ensured that any adjustments that were required were dealt with as soon as possible, and I’ve always managed to see him in Manchester or London. I could not be more delighted with my new smile, especially when people don’t notice because it’s so natural, or when they do and I eagerly show them the before and after pictures! “Highly recommended!!!! First time getting my lips done so was alittle nervous, especially hearing about alot of horror stories with people having had treatment with beauticians. I opted to get them done with Pharmaclinix knowing that they have registered health care professionals doing the treatments, which calmed my nerves abit. Ali was brilliant and very knowledgeable. “Firstly the much stereotype criticising secretary's does not apply at the surgery. They have always been kind and considerate when dealing with any issues I may have and very professional. I find the Klinik online system to be one of the best systems a surgery can use for those that have Internet access. I went in for a few treatments, including 1ml lip filler (I requested to split this into two sessions at 0.5ml each instead to that I could gradually increase the amount) and botox in two areas (forehead and frown lines).
