Extra Mile Health | Physiotherapy Clinic in Manchester
● Closed“I was recommended Chris Bramah (Extra Mile Health) by my running coach. Prior to Chris’s treatment I had suffered constantly with hypermobility syndrome. This was made worse by running - which I loved. I was in constant pain every day and found day to day tasks challenging. I went to Chris as a last resort, in the hope that I could live relatively pain free. What I did not expect was that after a few months of treatment/working alongside Chris in the gym, I would to be back running and running better than before! One of the qualities of Chris that sets him above any physiotherapists I have previously seen is his ability to solve extremely complex injuries. He puts it into terms that are easy to understand, and he will take you through the biomechanics. It’s clear that Chris is passionate about his job and cares about the individuals he treats. I attend appointments with Chris regularly. This can be a mixture of treatment or gym work, all of which have been valuable in keeping me pain free. I have had a personalised strength and conditioning plan put together ensuring I’m keeping my body strong. I always look forward to my appointments with Chris as it’s an opportunity to learn, improve and adapt.”

Osteopath Manchester - MyMSK Clinic
● Closed“My husband visited the Burnley clinic after having severe sciatica pain for several weeks. He was able to book a fast appointment within a few days. The service was fantastic from start to finish. Dr Akhtar was very professional and put him at ease. He was very thorough and got straight to the problem which was a slipped disc on the sciatic nerve. After the initial consultation my husband went back for a spinal injection. He found it was better to have a few days rest off work to enable recovery. Bed rest and gentle excercises every hour helped. We would definitely recommend Dr Akhtar and his team. Thank you”

City Centre Therapy
● Closed“I’ve been seeing Cheryl since September and it’s been one of the most comfortable and affirming experiences I’ve had in therapy. It was because of her sessions that I felt encouraged to seek out an ADHD diagnosis and Cheryl has been invaluable at helping me make sense of the condition. The warmth, empathy and kindness with which she conducts her sessions have been transformative. Having been to therapy before, this is the first time I’ve felt like a therapist has understood me and been able to adequately assess the cause of my difficulties. After having multiple therapeutic experiences that weren’t helpful, I became resigned at the thought that my issues couldn’t be treated. By understanding the cause of my problems and devising ways to treat them, my sessions with Cheryl have imbued in me a newfound hope and optimism and have given me a more positive outlook on my future.”

Trauma Therapy Manchester
● ClosedSalford M6 7HL, United Kingdom“I'm currently on the 100 hour TIY training. It's a very intense, in-depth course and very well thought through. The teacher's understanding and knowledge around trauma and how to safely support someone through Trauma Informed Yoga in their healing is outstanding. The course is set up with a perfect blend of self-enquiry and reflection, practical sessions and theory. I particularly liked the triad work in-between sessions as it gives us a chance to apply what we've learned as well as direct feedback from the other students. Thanks to all teachers for a very valuable course and their compassion and support throughout the course. I will take what I've learned not just into my TIY sessions but all my modalities. I can highly recommend this course.”

The Therapy Clinic
● Closed69 Hamilton Road, Longsight, Manchester M13 0PD, United Kingdom“An apprehensive and ignorant Oz entered the clinic with chronic pains and a will to try anything in order to find a solution. Lots of reassurance, information and continual attention through the therapy were offered by my therapist. The ambience and cleanliness of the clinic were top class. Attention to detail in every aspect. It was more of an experience than a treatment. I found their product range to be very suitable and affordable. Black Seed Oil and Shilajit products for all budgets. Can you put a price on your health though, really? The treatments are very cost effective too. What was a beautiful touch in my opinion were the free to all Quran CD's with English Translation. Knowledge is power after all. Thanks Brother. JazakAllahKhair. I shall be back.”

Manchester Hypnotherapy
● Closed29 Parkfield Road South, Manchester M20 6DH, United Kingdom“I came to see Pam when struggling to sleep, during a very stressful period. Pam explained to me how the body reacts to stress and why this can affect sleep. She then taught me to relax and switch off, and taught me not to try and go to sleep - instead just to let go and relax. It became easier to do this as the weeks went on and I haven't suffered with insomnia since. I've felt much calmer and more positive generally. I have recommended Pam to friends (who also found success) and would say to anyone with insomnia or anxiety to give it a try. Pam explained the process very clearly to me and her gentle manner very quickly put me at ease. The sessions take place in Pam's home which is a very relaxing place where you can immediately feel comfortable. You're provided with CDs - free of charge - to continue to practice with at home, so that you can continue the work you do in the sessions. It was a very positive experience and the only thing that has worked for me. I couldn't recommend Pam more.”

Tiptoes Child Therapy Services Ltd.
● Closed18 Carrhill Road, Mossley, Ashton-under-lyne OL5 0QT, United Kingdom“I've been impressed by the level of consideration, compassion, thought and care shown by the team at Tiptoes. The clinical supervision is of a class and quality that I'd not previously experienced and I valued it greatly. The office is mostly on one level so is very accessible though I think the toilet may present a challenge for wheelchair users to access unaided. It's a comfortable and welcoming environment that's open and friendly. They have an impressive array of therapeutic services available to children, families, staff and organisations. I've found my contact with this service transformational.”
