Magazin Romanesc in Manchester Casa Romaneasca
“Nice shop for traditional eastern European delights.”
Ceresis
“Without a doubt the best pizza… no arguments. Big portions, quality ingredients and great service. The shop is brilliant too, refreshing to see some effort in the decors in a takeaway. Highly recommended.”
Pasta & Basta
“I'm from Sardinia as well, as the owner of this business is. I really know how every single dish should taste. Today I've brought some Seadas, and they were amazing! Even in Sardinia is a bit hard to find really good Seadas like that, i was feeling like home. Definitely I'll be back again. For the owner: "Là chi fianta bonasa diaderusu!" ;-)”
The Sparrows Continental Pasta & Spätzle
“After having a very very cold bus trip for 4h this restaurant was our salvation. From the outside one does not know what to expect, but once the door was opened we really got surprised. The warm and nice atmosphere inside made us enjoy the delicious lunch even more. The Spätzle tasted truly authentic, but at the same time had a touch of originality. We strongly recommend the Spätzle “Guanciale” (sadly not on the photos), which are a beautiful mix of different countries traditional plates. All in all this restaurant is something different and offers a nice variation of very interesting dishes and drinks. We strongly recommend it :)”
Veranda
“We had a lovely meal here yesterday, service was great and very friendly. Food was lovely, fresh and good value. Will definitely be visiting again.”
Door 34 Coffeehouse & Kitchen
“It was my first visit to Door 34. Inside downstairs is quite compact, and was full when I visited last week. But there are a couple of rooms upstairs, and that is where I went. I ordered when I went in, a Cappuccino and Banana cake. As I said they were quite busy, and my order took around 25 minutes to arrive, but worth waiting for. The large Cappuccino was one of the best I have had, and the cake very nice. Staff were friendly and I enjoyed the experience in nice clean surroundings. I will definitely go again.”
The Perfect Match
“Superb food, great wine pairings. Service a little slow and decor a little shabby but you really don’t notice that once each course is serve. Staff exceedingly knowledgeable and friendly”
Lupo
“Absolute gem in prestwich. Can't believe it's taken me this long to pop in. Had a fantastic coffee & a beautiful bun filled with bolognese. Highly recommended 5* Update Dec 22' Finally got round to tasting the wonderful pizza at Lupo. Its definitely the best pizza I've ever tasted, everything was so so fresh and tasty. I highly recommend. Very easy to communicate over WhatsApp, get your orders in!”
The Little Greek Shop
“Excellent food, wonderful staff. I have ordered their lunchtime wraps for work events a few times now and it never disappoints!”
Le Petit Bijou
“Friendly and attentive staff & Generous portions. Usually sceptical over salad’s in Café’s, but this was one of the best I’ve had in a local cafe in a while.”
Mano a Bocca
“Top notch service and excellent food. Price is reasonable and the environment is great!”
Two Birds & One Stone
“A very nice place to visit for breakfast. I had the ‘full English’ which was excellent - large portions of all the right ingredients. Beans not exactly to my liking, neither the method of serving tea, but for most people they would probably be OK. Excellent service by a happy, cheerful and well organized waitress. Decent value for money.”
Chez Nous Bistro
“I love this place. Been here a few times now. Not the cheapest of restaurants but you definitely get what you pay for; quality food, lovely venue and truly attentive staff, nothing is too much trouble.”
Borrello
“Wow! We had an amazing dinner, and rather by accident. We were trying to drop in at Rudy’s to celebrate some spontaneous good news, but hadn’t made a reservation. Feeling a little gutted, we happened upon Borrello while heading back to Sale High Street… The food was amazing! The pan-fried prawns were deliciously zesty and crisp, and the stewed ribs were just so flavourful and hearty; just beautiful! I had a Mushroom Risotto with Truffle Oil, and my partner had the catch of the day (Lemon Butter Sole with Truffle Chips). Aside from feeling so fancy, the flavours were all perfectly and delicately balanced. My partner finished her meal with fudge cake and ice cream, which she polished off neatly. I was way too full for dessert. The portion sizes are big, in my opinion, but the food tasted so good we put away the lot with no problem. My eyes feel like they’re about to pop, but I’m very satisfied. Excellent service, great atmosphere (lovely decor - the walls are impressive) and reasonably priced too for the experience. We had a great time and hope you do too!”
Seaway
“Great family run chippy. Good portion sizes and good value too!”
Delicia
“The best Jamaican food I have ever tried. Love the fact there is the option for bone & boneless with the curry's. You wont find anywhere as good as this place. Goat curry, rice & peas & plantain were all perfect. Delivery driver was sound Overall top food and top service Love it!”
Kraków Continental Food
“Read an article in the Telegraph in which the writer raved about a Polish cheese called Oscypek. Being a cheese lover, I called at Krakow and asked if they had this cheese. Yes, they did and if you like a smoked, salty, sheeps milk cheese, this is one you will love. The staff are great too.”
Bianco - Pizza & Coffee
“A cosy, warm atmosphere that feels like stepping across the continent when you walk through the doors. Delicious fresh-baked panini with rich marscapone and espresso that needs no further flavouring to be delicious. Not to mention decadent Italian-style pastry”
Sultan Turkish Grill
“I really enjoyed the food. The service was excellent and the staff were very helpful. I got the mix grill for 2, and it was more than enough for me, my wife and 2 kids. The owners are great and made us feel very welcome. The decor inside is stunning and the food is fresh and really tasty. My little kids even got lollies at the end. Definitely recommend this place and will be visiting again. Thanks Asma for the delicious food.”
Casa Italia
“A genuine slice of Italy but right here in Manchester. Easily the tastiest Panini's my wife and I have ever eaten. We cannot wait to get back and try other delight's.”
Royal Balti
“We have really enjoyed our recent takeaway from Royal Balti. The food was cooked really well and full of flavour. Delivered with a smile thank you”

“Amazing American style pancakes, super fluffy and tasty - a wonderful treat ❤ the customer service was equally amazing with the wonderful lady who works behind the counter going above and beyond checking ingredients for potential allergens for my partner. She was awesome!”

“Love this place! My missus always visits and we make the most of it when we walk into the village at the weekend. The coffee is superb and the food is even better!!!”

Green Pepper
“I visited The Green Pepper on the 30 December 2021 with my parents. To say that the food was wonderful would be an understatement. The lady that served us was was very friendly and provided an excellent service looking after us. The place is well located with a carpark close by and a bus stop. The restaurant doesn't have an alcohol license but there are shops over the road if you wish to bring your own. They provide glasses if you do bring alcohol and they do sell soft drinks if you don't.They also provide a takeaway service. I'd definitely recommend this place to anyone who enjoys a good Indian curry.”
