“Had breakfast at The Cow Café on a cold and rainy January morning, this place has a real authentic local café feeling, the staff are warm and welcoming and the food is superb. Kelly, one of the waiting staff made a superb cappuccino, one of the nicest I've had! Would definitely recommend calling into The Cow Café if you're in the area, you won't be disappointed. “Some of the best Shawarma if eaten, period, and very reasonably priced at that, costing now £3.50 for a chicken shawarma wrap. Best thing for me is the freshly cooked bread with every wrap! - makes it! Thought this place had closed down until recently, but it just moved from the the tiny adjacent shop to next door. Glad to know the Manchester staple is back. Great friendly service also. Highly recommend!”

“One of the best cafe's on the strip for shisha. Cosy atmosphere and a fair amount of seats for the size of the place. Great value for money on the shisha. They have a variety of flavours and they are all quality. The staff are very welcoming and helpful. Definitely recommend for a quiet shisha experience without deafening music playing.”

“Had a meeting and lunch here. The meeting room was very spacious, the tech all worked and there are plenty of plugs. Tea and coffee provided, along with some biscuits. Staff very helpful throughout. The lunch was nice too, not too pricey for quality food, had the seabass, calories printed on the menus which is very helpful. Pint of MPA on cask was in perfect condition!”

The Cinema is part of the Parrs Wood Entertainment Complex which consists of a Ten Pin bowling with loads of great arcade games and a great selection of restaurants including Five Guys, Nandos, Wagamama etc The cinema has a Starbucks on the ground floor with plenty of seating Upstairs you will find a Ben and Jerrys style ice cream counter and the usual popcorn and drinks stations with a large choice of snacks and Sri is and a pick n pix wall. The bar area is lovely set up by a huge window looking out at Didsbury. The variety of screens here is impressive with Superscreens, 3D IMAX and 4DX. The seats are red leather reclining in some screens. A huge car park at the rear is handy plus there is a huge gym and casino too.”

I’m slowly working my way through them when I’m in Manchester and it feels being 18 again trying things for the first time! “Consistent every single time - I've dined in and ordered via Deliveroo since it was opened and they haven't let me down when it came to taste and the quality of food. I've tried Big John's smashes burgers, loaded chips, supreme chicken burger and Asian style pizza. The staff are very friendly and I got the opportunity to meet and chat with the regional manager too. They take feedback seriously and always looking got perfecting their recipes by giving you a feedback form to fill in. I've not been dissapointed so far and I hope they keep up the high standards.”
