“Lovely staff in the cafe. In fact I wouldn’t call it a a cafe. I would call it a cafe I wold call it an restaurafe. The only down side was our drinks ( mine an extra hot cappuccino) was sat waiting for the waitress to take it to me. Therefore, it was cold when it reached our table. We were very close too where they make the coffee. The food was lovely and I was provided with with a bag for the other half of the wrap I couldn’t eat so I could take home. The Butcher’s had an amazing array of meat. The steak beef burgers that I bought were the best that I have ever tasted. The young lad that served me was very knowledgeable too. The staff in the grocery department were brilliant too especially when I asked the lady for ‘a quarter’ of pear drops ( I’m old school at 53) she didn’t bat an eyelid and gave me my (quarter) of sweets. What can I say? 24ct gold service.”

“Been using mkm in sharston for a while now the lads in the yard on behind the tills are a great helpful bunch always doing there best that your happy not like the other builder's merchants not so far away. They will always try beat prices and I'd say 90% of the Time they do always gonna have the odd item tgat might find a quid or 2 cheaper. Had tgere kitchen designer Stuart hankinson designing my kitchen great service nothing was too much trouble and went into detail of spec kitchen to suit everyone needs. Great service great guy keep up the great work”

Right from our first visit the customer service was first class, Darren talked us through the process after we had chosen our kitchen and after the CAD survey we had a date and the fitter we chose was excellent started Monday completely finished by Friday.Response to solve a couple of issues during the fitting was very quick. “We have just finished an amazing week’s honeymoon staying in Overlea Farm Cowshed. The cottage was incredible all round. I was particularly impressed with the decor and furnishing. Fantastic quality and great design. We loved the hot tub both on a morning looking out over the fields or on an evening looking at the stars. The fire was fantastic to keep toasty in the evening, though you get full control of the central heating anyway. The owners made us feel very welcome with a wonderful little welcome hamper. When we arrived there was gentle music playing on the Sonos system and a lovely scent from the diffusers. The location is fantastic for anyone with a car as it is super easy to access walks, restaurants and all the top sights in the Peaks within about 30 mins drive. We would absolutely recommend a stay here and would love to visit again.”

“Always amazing service. I moved into the area about a year ago and every time I get amazing service. The guys know what they're talking about and are always eager to help. Last time I just needed mineral oil to season a chopping board, walk in and get a friendly greeting, I'm telling him what I'm looking for, he points me to the isle, comes over to help without needing me to ask, then when I tell him I need food safe low/no odour, he grabs two options from beside himself without looking. I was in and out within two minutes.”
