It's different from all other restaurants I have been to (in the best way possible), and I found it quite refreshing and exciting to try dishes that aren't so common and easily found elsewhere. “Me and my family went here for a birthday tea off of a shining recommendation. Could not recommend more, the food was amazing, best jalfrezi I’ve ever had. The mixed starter was gorgeous. “Food is immaculately good. We enjoyed a three course meal at Dishoom. The variety of food is great for Vegetarian and Vegans too. The unlimited tea lasts until 5pm Although, service is slow the food makes up for it. It was unbelievably hot on the day we visited, the air-conditioning was not on.”

Service was great always coming to top up drinks. Atmosphere was nice but a little too dark in booth and music so loud that's it was hard to talk to people on opposite end of table but other than that it was an incredible experience and the staff are very helpful”

“My experience every time I go to this restaurant is absolutely nice. Great customer service, serene environment and lovely ambience. The only issue is parking because it is located in a very busy area of the city. I would also prefer more comfortable seats. The high-five drink is super amazing. My overall experience so far is good and I will always revisit.”

“Gorgeous food, staff and ambience. I lived in HK for a while and have really missed milk tea, ginger coke and all the staples. This is the best and most authentic food I've had for years (even in HK) , I wouldn't be surprised if this gets a Michelin star at some point. We had the French Toast, Typhoon Pork and Egg Fried rice and it was just amazing! I've only had food this good in super posh places in HK so I hope Broughton knows how lucky it is :). Lovely vibes, great music, lots of light and nice and chilled. I also love that you can choose from sharing dishes, snacks and specials at reasonable prices. An absolute gem, I will definitely be back to try all the other dishes!”

“I have tried almost every food at Da Vinchi and have never been disappointed. Edika Ikong (my favourite), Afang, Nkwobi, Isiewu, Suya, grilled fish, and the list goes on and on. “It’s pricier than places like itsu for sushi but it’s loads better. Best meal is the chicken curry, they heat it for you and it’s the best meal you can buy for lunch within a 15 minute walk of my office. Costs about £8 but would work great as a dinner if you wanted it. Service can be a bit slow, blunt and disorganised but I bet staff are rushed off their feet. Don’t know why people don’t shout about Nudo more.”

“I ordered here via Deliveroo last week, had egg fried rice, kimchi pancake and salt and pepper chicken. The food was amazing and I didn’t notice or watch how long it would take to deliver but it felt like it was delivered in good time. The driver from the restaurant brought it right to my door (unlike other Deliveroo drivers who will make you come down) I loved the food so much I added it on my list of places to eat back at and did a google search which is where I saw the poor reviews on here. I’m surprised to see some of them as I had a pleasant experience - I would say to give it a chance.”

“15/03.. Dinner: Great service, wonderful food, and table service by Olivia - she was attentive, friendly and helpful. 16/03.. Breakfast - it's always wonderful when I stay at any hotel to know that kippers are available. They were good. The buffet breakfast is freshly cooked and attentively replaced. Cold meats, cereals, cheeses, fruit and pastries, and alternative milks readily on hand. Luiza's greeting on the front desk was friendly, attentive and with a welcoming smile. The restaurant was busy (7-7.45am), but all staff, including the trainee(s) were calm, not rushing; a specific mention also for Ndeye who waited on our table attentively, collected our plates/dishes when we had finished and asked if we would like more milk. Luiza told me it was only Ndeye's 2nd day... amazing.”
