“This was our first escape room experience. We loved it!! The whole set-up was very well run from the briefing video at the start to the photo and lovely hot chocolate at the end. The staff were great. We did Merlin's Magic Academy and it was just at our level (Us two plus our 15 and 10 year old sons) ...we almost made it out within the hour :) Plenty of help during the challenge if required but it flows very well. Looking forward to returning and doing another room soon.”

“Great laid back cinema with comfy seating. You can get Pizza and beer to take into the film, perfect! Has an arcade and ten pin bowling attached and always has a great atmosphere! Staff are friendly and love dressing up for the latest releases! There were some sights for Avatar!”

“Enjoy some Indian and Persian food at Ivory IndoPersian Hidden away on the edge of Stockport, Ivory IndoPersian provides a mixture of Indian and Persian food. Each type of cuisine has its own chef, so make sure you order off the menu that you prefer - don’t expect your asian spices on the Persian dishes. It was really busy when we visited, and at full capacity it may feel a little cramped. Don’t let that deter you from trying it out though. The Indian dishes were; \Pani Puri [£3.50] - This was spicy and yummy, with mashed potatoes inside. The tamarind sauce was really tasty \Ivory Indian Special [For 2 £30.00] - Big, juicy, crunchy prawns just the way we like it and with a proper tandoori taste. The meaty lamb chops were done exactly how you want it \Achari [£12.90] - This was such a good recommendation from one of the owners. Sweet yet spicy and filled with a mixture of spices - such a good lamb curry The Persian dishes were; \Mix Mezze [£7.50] - Included the cucumber yoghurt, a mixed salad, hummus and yoghurt. The cucumber yoghurt was refreshing, the yoghurt tasted like plain, greek yoghurt - think it was meant to be garlic and shallots but this didn’t come through. The indian naan bread that came with it was nice, but a Persian flatter bread would have been better \Ivory Persian Special [For 2 £37.00] - Same as the indian special, the lamb chops were pure meat! The chicken was juicy, the flat kebab a little dry and the other kobedas cooked nicely \Zereshk Polow & Chicken [£12.90] - A sweet taste, quite like rose and saffron providing that unusuality. A simple, unique dish that was really nice The sweetness for the end consisted of the list below. We were so full by this point that they gave us little tasters so we could see what they were like; \Gulab Jamun [£5] - Pure yum but imagine with a bit of ice cream, this would have been heavenly. The cardamom wasn’t overpowering at all, which was nice L\emon Cheesecake [£5.60] - A tangy, refreshing hit \Baklava [£7] - Pure sweet, syrupy baklava We’ll be back to try some more of the Persian goodies Recommended for: Curries, Indian, Persian Service: High Price: ££ Halal: Full Menu”

“Went there today at 4pm. Ordered soup for my mum and I had prawn cocktail plus two roast dinners lamb it was absolutely delicious plus chocolate fudge cake and cheese cake will definitely be going again. Prices good for the quality of food.”

“A fantastic pub decorated beautifully. There's a lovely conservatory to have your meal too. I had the carvery. There was about 5 different meat choices and huge Yorkshire puddings. Pigs in blankets are available at an extra charge. There's a great selection of vegetables. Lovely roast potatoes, boiled potatoes, mushy peas, cauliflower cheese, broccoli, mixed vegetables. 3 types of gravy. Vegetarian, meaty gravy and gravy with peppercorns. The usual sauces are available, apple, cranberry, mint. Our server was Marc who was just delightful. Me and my friend will definitely be coming back.”

“I'm very pleased we have Redrock on our doorstep. It's a very modern building, not to my taste (I like ancient Victorian architecture) but it offers some good stuff from a gym to restaurants, a cinema, bowling, darts and an arcade. It does Stockport a favour in the otherwise deteriorating centre of the town. Hopefully a sign of things to come. I hope it does well and all the businesses there stay open...”

“We were very satisfied with Zizzi. Everything was very tasty, fresh and super quick. We did not wait long to get our order on our table. Staff were polite and willing to help you. The atmosphere in the restaurant was very good, it is very well decorated and you can actually see the kitchen and the pizza oven! It is a bit pricey for the portions you get but you get compensated by the quality of the food. Definitely worth it.”

“What a pleasant surprise on our first visit. Delightful Art Deco building. Went to see an old Cary Grant film. Half an hour of live organ music before the film. The organ then descends into the pit. National anthem after the film. Great experience.”

“It's been a fantastic journey for the Cibus team, and their Levenshulme restaurant strides out ahead of the pack, offering a sophisticated dining experience. The first notable point is how much this doesn't feel like a Levenshulme location but more aligned with Manchester dining venues. The lighting is low and creates an intimate atmosphere, heightened by the proximity to other diners, which some may feel a bit too close but you've got to pack them in - on the 2 occasions I've visited both have been packed! The food is as perfect as you'd expect. The ingredients are carefully selected to offer a taste that doesn't hit you over the head, instead offering subtle flavours. Pair this with a carefully curated selection of wines and beers and you've got a great night guaranteed. If you have room I'd definitely recommend having the Pistachio ice cream to finish - the best I've tasted this side of the North Sea.”

“Called in 4 days ago when everywhere was snowed under and the roads were deadly with ice! The absolutely lovely landlady came rushing to the door and guided us into the warmth. She had one of the staff make a hot coffee for my husband free! I bought a lager and lime which was just perfect. While we were there two paramedics called in to use the toilets; and again, the landlady made them both a cup of coffee free of charge! What a lovely, down to earth lady! The other staff were friendly too. Really nice, traditional pub with wonderfully welcoming staff. Highly recommended! ☺️”

Definitely worth getting a membership if you go there a couple of times as you get this discounts am a number of things. Prices are for and the food offered is good quality too. “We thoroughly enjoyed our 1st visit to The Wycliffe Hotel, Stockport this weekend. All the staff are so friendly and welcoming. Our room was spotlessly clean and a very good size. The bed was very comfortable. We ate evening meal at the restaurant Excellent Italian food. A very good choice of dishes. Breakfast also excellent. Good choices. Cooked to order. Deliciously hot. We will definitely stay here again. We can highly recommend this hotel.”

“I arranged a surprise birthday get together for my husband’s birthday on 23rd October. Lauren was fantastic in helping me organise this & sectioned off the room behind the bar for family & friends. I ordered sandwiches for everyone who attended. They were delicious & everyone enjoyed them. All our family & friends agreed that the Norfolk Arms is a great pub, with great staff & a great atmosphere. Thanks for making the surprise party really special! Highly recommend!”
