“This was our first escape room experience. We loved it!! The whole set-up was very well run from the briefing video at the start to the photo and lovely hot chocolate at the end. The staff were great. We did Merlin's Magic Academy and it was just at our level (Us two plus our 15 and 10 year old sons) ...we almost made it out within the hour :) Plenty of help during the challenge if required but it flows very well. Looking forward to returning and doing another room soon.”

“Amazing food, so much thought, work and care had gone into each course. The flavours were amazing and they clearly use only the best produce. Dietary requirements were catered for without any bother. One of the best meals I have ever had! Super friendly and knowledgeable staff! I honestly couldn't fault this restaurant , lovely ambience. I definitely recommend this place. Just go, you will not be disappointed! I can't wait to return!”

“This cafe is well talked about and very popular with the locals. It's a hidden gem of Stockport. If you like a Sunday afternoon tea this is the place. Lots of little cakes and good quality tea, the thing to have is the teared plates. But will set you back 15 per person. But well worth it. Little sandwiches. Nice. It's all art deco... so it makes you feel like you should dress up to visit!! Service is quite posh here. Love the 1930 feel.”

“Went there today at 4pm. Ordered soup for my mum and I had prawn cocktail plus two roast dinners lamb it was absolutely delicious plus chocolate fudge cake and cheese cake will definitely be going again. Prices good for the quality of food.”

“Cracking food and a tasty authentic masala chai served in a lovely hand painted tea pot from India. We were given a very warm welcome and were also treated to a free mango lassi that would otherwise have gone to waste. Oh, and the decor is fantastic too. Highly recommended!”

The dishes are much more interesting than your usual Indian restaurant - with so much more flavour and beautifully presented. There are excellent vegetarian choices for both starters and main courses. The staff are really friendly and attentive and keen to chat about the menu if you need help choosing. “My husband and I often have brunch or lunch at Fig&Fennel and we love the food there. When deciding where to have my 30th birthday party a few people mentioned that Fig&Fennel do private events in the evening - wow wow wow! Lee was great! The food was absolutely fantastic - all my guests commented on the huge variety of food on the night and how delicious it all was. I would not hesitate on having another event with Lee and staff at Fig&Fennel and can't wait to go back for brunch soon! Thank you.”
