“We've tried Lucky's in Oldham, so we wanted to try the one in Stockport. The place is very aesthetically pleasing. There are a few tables upstairs and more downstairs if the place is packed. The menu was extensive with a lot of variety. I got the Route 66 Burger and a Mango mojito. The food tasted nice and it was presented well. Would definitely go again to try the other things on the menu.”

“Wish ide take a picture but was to keen to eat! I'm vegan and had the vegetable skewer starter and then the aubergine curry, it all tasted so fresh and healthy. The husband really enjoyed his chicken saag to, he said it was full of flavor. Great prices with the discount to, good proper authentic food. Food hot when arrived and delivered by a lovley gentleman. 100% recommend.”

“This cafe is well talked about and very popular with the locals. It's a hidden gem of Stockport. If you like a Sunday afternoon tea this is the place. Lots of little cakes and good quality tea, the thing to have is the teared plates. But will set you back 15 per person. But well worth it. Little sandwiches. Nice. It's all art deco... so it makes you feel like you should dress up to visit!! Service is quite posh here. Love the 1930 feel.”

“Enjoy some Indian and Persian food at Ivory IndoPersian Hidden away on the edge of Stockport, Ivory IndoPersian provides a mixture of Indian and Persian food. Each type of cuisine has its own chef, so make sure you order off the menu that you prefer - don’t expect your asian spices on the Persian dishes. It was really busy when we visited, and at full capacity it may feel a little cramped. Don’t let that deter you from trying it out though. The Indian dishes were; \Pani Puri [£3.50] - This was spicy and yummy, with mashed potatoes inside. The tamarind sauce was really tasty \Ivory Indian Special [For 2 £30.00] - Big, juicy, crunchy prawns just the way we like it and with a proper tandoori taste. The meaty lamb chops were done exactly how you want it \Achari [£12.90] - This was such a good recommendation from one of the owners. Sweet yet spicy and filled with a mixture of spices - such a good lamb curry The Persian dishes were; \Mix Mezze [£7.50] - Included the cucumber yoghurt, a mixed salad, hummus and yoghurt. The cucumber yoghurt was refreshing, the yoghurt tasted like plain, greek yoghurt - think it was meant to be garlic and shallots but this didn’t come through. The indian naan bread that came with it was nice, but a Persian flatter bread would have been better \Ivory Persian Special [For 2 £37.00] - Same as the indian special, the lamb chops were pure meat! The chicken was juicy, the flat kebab a little dry and the other kobedas cooked nicely \Zereshk Polow & Chicken [£12.90] - A sweet taste, quite like rose and saffron providing that unusuality. A simple, unique dish that was really nice The sweetness for the end consisted of the list below. We were so full by this point that they gave us little tasters so we could see what they were like; \Gulab Jamun [£5] - Pure yum but imagine with a bit of ice cream, this would have been heavenly. “Went there today at 4pm. Ordered soup for my mum and I had prawn cocktail plus two roast dinners lamb it was absolutely delicious plus chocolate fudge cake and cheese cake will definitely be going again. Prices good for the quality of food.”

“Usually I have the beef curry but decided to try something different. We’ve been coming here since I was a child. How did I not ever think to try the beef satay & noodles? Absolutely beautiful! If I could give it more stars I would. Proper chips. Gorgeous sauce. Soft lovely noodles. If you keep serving up that you’ll make me fat!”

“A fantastic pub decorated beautifully. There's a lovely conservatory to have your meal too. I had the carvery. There was about 5 different meat choices and huge Yorkshire puddings. Pigs in blankets are available at an extra charge. There's a great selection of vegetables. Lovely roast potatoes, boiled potatoes, mushy peas, cauliflower cheese, broccoli, mixed vegetables. 3 types of gravy. Vegetarian, meaty gravy and gravy with peppercorns. The usual sauces are available, apple, cranberry, mint. Our server was Marc who was just delightful. Me and my friend will definitely be coming back.”

“I'm very pleased we have Redrock on our doorstep. It's a very modern building, not to my taste (I like ancient Victorian architecture) but it offers some good stuff from a gym to restaurants, a cinema, bowling, darts and an arcade. It does Stockport a favour in the otherwise deteriorating centre of the town. Hopefully a sign of things to come. I hope it does well and all the businesses there stay open...”

“Eggs and meat products are of great quality and worth it for the price paid. Reduced sandwiches are always available very cheaply on store entrance. Instore pickup is very helpful for M&S loyal customers. Only dislike about this store is the customer service is very very very slow wasting lot of time but the staff are friendly.”

The lady that served us couldn’t have been anymore helpful & polite, being a new vegan it can be quite daunting but the help & advice we received was great. The selection of fresh food is amazing.
