Don't spect a fast food service, you will not come here to that. Waiters are really nice and friendly and the place is nice to come with a small group of friends, family or your partner.”

“Great find in central Manchester - good deal in Deansgate. An excellent place in the city centre, with a warm welcome, efficient service, and great atmosphere. And absolutely delicious food to boot. The restaurant has the feel of a city centre pub on entering, but behind and beyond the first room is a series of smaller areas with a distinctly greek taverna feel. Access is all on one level, and whilst the general toilets are down stairs, there is a ground level accessible toilet for those with limited mobility. The staff were delightful and the food came very quickly after ordering. There’s a good range of both meat food and meat free food. And a good range of beers and wines. The price is very reasonable. Certainly a place to go again next time I’m in town.”

“We had our celebratory wedding meal here last summer and could not thank Manish and the team enough for there fantastic hospitality and flexibility. They were kind enough to open the restaurant just for us and our guests for the afternoon. We had thalis and Manish was happy to tailor the menu to meet all our guests dietary requirements. Everyone loved the food which was cooked fresh, was authentic and was full of flavour. The staff were really friendly and couldn't do enough to help, they even let us do speeches and perform a song and joined in with the celebrations. Thank you Manish and your team for helping to make our wedding day so special.”

“Great coffee shop located in the MediaCity. It is very bright inside, with large floor-to-ceiling windows making two of the four walls. The interior is done in a minimalist style, dominated by colours like white, grey and black. However, it does not feel hostile. There are two floors, the upper floor is only accessible via stairs, but the ground floor can be accessible on a wheelchair. The music inside is on a louder side, so I don't think it is a right place if you like to read or focus with a cup of coffee. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. You make an order as you come in, pay, and then wait for it to be brought to your table. The service can be slow, but not because nobody cares, just nobody is in a rush. The flat white I ordered was great, very smooth and creamy. The drink size is quite small, but the taste makes up for it. The bake was also great. The prices are only slightly higher than in Starbucks or Costa Coffee, but the quality is superb. Overall, I think it is a great coffee shop for a cup of good coffee and friendly service.”

“The place is lovely. I used to go there a lot a few years ago, then went away so stopped. I went back today for a pizza because theirs are crunchy. The chef was adorable and we improvised that pizza I wanted for a takeaway (picture), totally yummy. The whole staff there is extremely nice and have always been. The decor is lovely but with all the tables occupied not exactly possible to take pictures. Always spotlessly clean, too.”

“Excellent. Hadn't booked, but managed to get us in after a 30 minute wait. Sat by 8.15pm, food served until 9.30pm which meant all the options didn't come round, so would recommend booking earlier. Nice veggie options, couldn't finish the tomato gnocchi. Would highly recommend, and recommend booking.”

The only issue is parking because it is located in a very busy area of the city. I would also prefer more comfortable seats. The high-five drink is super amazing. “This is my second time visiting Koreana. The staff are professional and attentive. Everything is great. We ordered some BBQ dishes and they were perfectly seasoned. The BBQ also came with lettuce and a variety of sauces and pickled greens which complement them nicely. Every dish we have tried so far is amazing. And their homemade desserts are not to be missed. We always order their ice creams after a meal; they are refreshing and satisfying especially after a heavy BBQ dinner. Service is great. We ordered assorted pickles and were given just one type. We thought it was strange so asked a waiter who then immediately checked it for us. They quickly brought out the right dish and apologised for the mistake. So very pleased all in all. The only things I would nitpick on are that the portion seems a bit small for the price. But since they don’t charge a service fee the total bill is still quite reasonable. And also they tend to bring out all dishes at once so I’d recommend to order the desserts after you’ve finished with your meal. Definitely recommend and will always come back here for Korean BBQ.”

“A bar worth visiting. If you enjoy a great view while you’re sipping on an amazing cocktail, you have to go here. The bartenders know their menu and they’re also extremely nice. We needed no reservation when we went there during a Sunday (midday). There where lots of seats available both inside and outside. One of my favourite parts was the live music, wow!”

“Very nice place to have a few drinks and some delicious pub food reasonably priced. The Botanist is beautifully decorated, the cocktails and selection of drinks is is impressive. I really enjoyed my halloumi hanging kebab and sweet chili fries. The staff is very approachable and attentive. Special thanks to our waiter Sam who kindly made sure that we were happy and well attended at all times. Will go back :)”

“Pleasantly surprised to find this was a Samuel Smith's pub, so very cheap. Beer was very well kept. A very interesting building architecturally too - not your average pub. I did like their "Digital Detox" stance, which meant people were having actual conversations and not just sat looking at their phone!!”
