“The best Prestwich café. I'm sad it took us so long to try this outstanding café! The food was delicious, a shashunka worthy of the name! Best one I've had in the UK, spicy and with melt in the middle eggs. Outstanding oat milk coffee, the best around and there is good competition. Great veggie/vegan options, and lovely staff/vibe. Great with our annoying toddler too! :) Will be back!”

“This place is mindblowing! Beautiful decor, absolutely spotless, coffee and sandwiches to die for. And the prices are very good. Beautiful oat vanilla latte & the most delicious chicken tikka sandwich. Even if I’m not hungry, whenever I happen to be in Manchester, I make sure I get 1 for later Lol. The owner is a very decent, sincere and genuine gentleman. He works with passion and prices, quality of products, cleaniness and his approach to clients reflect that. Always happy and professional. I can’t wait to go & grab my fav sandwich again. Definitely a place to go, not just whilst waiting for your bus!”

“Came here today with my friend to grab a quick bite and some coffee ! My friend is coeliac and can never find cafés with gluten free bread. Although we know most restaurants can’t guarantee the risk of cross contamination, Katie made a conscious effort to ensure my friends toast was gluten free and prepared separately from mine. I will be returning, great family friendly place to pop by for a quick drink !”

“Really charming little cafe. We were in Manchester for an event and stopped in here as somewhere local to where we were staying. Rather than just being a convenient place to eat Sunday brunch, the menu was varied and all of us enjoyed the meals we ordered. The staff were lovely, really friendly. Would definitely recommend.”

“We’ve been coming to Cocoa Tree for a number of years. It’s a nice little independent shop smelling like a sweet dream. The coffee and cakes are always fresh and delicious with smiley and welcoming staff. It’s always nice to see Mariana and have a chat and a giggle. This little gem worth a visit if you’re in the area or passing by.”

“Serendipitea is our local! Birthdays, anniversaries or just any excuse for a Gathering Of The Clans - we're here! This isn't just a café, it's a proper community hub. The food is fantastic quality, the staff are lovely and they take pride in serving their community and giving back. They DO cater for veggies/vegans/allergy sufferers - but their sausages are EPIC! If your dog is well-behaved, they're welcome too.”

“Manchester on a Sunday Morning for Bruch was a lot busier than we thought. Luckily we got a table at Idle Hands. I'm super glad we did. Lovely atmosphere. We ordered and shared: Meaty Hash Brown Stack and Divorced Eggs. Both tasted fantastic. Food came quickly and was presented like a work of art. It was so good, I really can't recommend it enough. I ordered one of their famous pies and can tell why. I got the Banana Milk Pie and it was so light and creamy. Top marks.”

“Fabulous, fabulous food, nice staff, WAY better than the ridiculous dire Altrincham Market. I left the Tender Cow (TC) in the Market after a disgusting meal and found this brilliant cafe. Tender Cow has No customer care, just a very bad attitude, my steak was swimming in sauce. Other restaurants would and do welcome feedback. It's how they stay open. No one wants 27 tonnes of sauce, you had to find the steak. Way too much sauce, no standards before food sent out. It could have been cardboard, you couldn't taste the meat, which made it pointless. At Altrincham Market silly prices you hope they had some skills? I took back the food to Tender Cow to offer feedback, and they couldn't care. Zero care. They just said ok. And ignored us....No refund, no replacement. In Lisbon we sent back a steak for a similar issue and the owner's came out to thank us, to adapt, to keep customers. A free replacement, and we return lots to that restaurant.”

“We hired the upstairs room for a get together with friends. We had a fantastic time! The guys working there were friendly and helpful and did everything they could to make our time with them a great one. The Sunday roast was amazing! They put the menu together for us as they normally only do Brunch menu. Can’t recommend them enough. Thank you Dom, Joe and team.”

“My daughter, son in law and 3 year old grandson took me here tonight for my birthday meal. My son in law is vegan and for the first time in ages managed to have a starter and a main course which didn't involved a burger! My sea bream was delicious. They kindly cooked my grandson's main course whilst the adults were on starters. The waiter was excellent and the food was well cooked and very tasty. My grandson would like to know where all the money has gone as he and Daddy went to the toilet in the safe and he couldn't see any cash!”

“Our first visit here today. Wow, just wow. I had the mushrooms on sourdough and my husband had the Turkish eggs. Both were unreal. It was one of the nicest breakfasts I've ever had. We also took a cake home. The cake selection was also one of the best I've seen. We will be back as there is still many menu items and cakes I want to try. A credit to Urmston. Well done!”

“A warm relaxing ambience , open mic nights, a VERY reasonable variety of 'non-coffee' beverages - on Draught, bottle or can, a variety of comfortable seating, some basic dining options with any manner of takeaways welcomed, clean restrooms... need I go on? And they have great coffee! Excellent place to chill with friends.”

“Quirky with a vintage twist. I love this little café. It's so inviting and you can smell the beautiful food as you approach. The new location is definitely better for size. There's seating inside and out which makes a change for this area. I love the shear selection of tea and I'm slowly trying to work my way through them all. So far my favourite is the fairy wings tea. They also have a great milkshake selection. The bacon butties are amazing. Plus the homemade cakes and scones are a must try.”
