“Have only visited here for breakfast. Has to be the best independent café, I have visited in Glossop. Staff are really friendly. Food is five star couldn’t ask for more. The only criticism I would have is there is not many tables, but it’s what I think makes unique.”

“Popped into M&S Sunday needed flowers and chocolates for my wife’s birthday. The staff were very friendly and when I came to the checkout it was a bit busy so I went to self checkout. Not switched on to that system but a lovely lady called Carol whisked it through for me, she was great, service with a smile! My wife rates M&S and I can see why. We’ll done Carol!”

“A local Co-Op store, but always well stocked, clean and the staff are amazing. There's freshly baked bread, fresh fruit and veg, a good stock of cooked and uncooked fresh and frozen produce. Regular offers for loads of items including alcohol, snacks and more nutritious goods. As best as possible, the one-way system works. There's a hand gell and cart sanitisation station too. For a local store, it's great!”

“Adorable pet shop with lovely staff. Asked them to get in some ferret supplies for us and they did straight away! Come here for malt paste, treats, and litter for them. Much better than getting stuff online!”

“Called in for a couple of things, they were in stock so we able to get them there and then. Plenty of free parking right outside the store, so easy to load into the car. Staff helpful and efficient. We'll worth a visit!!”

I’ll drink when I’m ready. - not enough staff smelled of disinfectant - the noise was too ambient - it wasn’t overpriced enough - the mistletoe was too high - too many urinal cakes - the lady with grey beard behind the bar had a ‘ghost of Christmas past’ vibe Other than that a really pleasant experience. “This is a very well located pub/hotel for visiting Glossop main street and the surrounding countryside. The room was a good size, recently decorated, with a good bathroom. We didn't eat there, but the menu looked good. Breakfast was also available from 9.00am. The room and the food were very reasonably priced. Very nice helpful staff which made for an enjoyable stay.”

“If you go in lidl or aldi they are virtually the same layout in every store Goto TESCO anywhere and it's lucky dip. They are price matching on some items but ridiculous on others items.”
