“Sapporo Teppanyaki is a great place to dine. The food is delicious and a wide variety of items is available. From beef to lamb to fish to veggie options. They confirmed that the chicken and lamb is halal. The taste of their items is also very good. Sushi tastes great as well and so does their dessert. Booking is highly recommended if you want a place at one of the live cooking stations.”

“Had a great experience at Mowgli’s in Manchester’s Corn Exchange. Booking highly recommended. Great drinks list with a range of delicious cocktails and interesting wines. We ordered a bottle of the Romanian Pinot Noir which was very enjoyable. Food was great, but it is absolutely tiny portions, and as a table of 7 it would have been handy had the wait-staff advised us about portion sizes and encourage us to get two of each or something. Everyone was very excited about the yoghurt bombs so we ended up ordering another round of those, as well as the sticky chicken and angry chicken. The curries were excellent too, and we ordered more plus extra roti’s (flat breads). Three bowls of rice was plenty for the table. The bill worked out at £29 a head which was extremely good value.”

“I’ve just had their beyond meat burger and it’s by far the best burger I’ve ever had! Not just vegan/vegetarian but any burger. It was so flavoursome and well presented. The chips were great too! Delivery was quick and I loved that the packaging didn’t include any plastic.”

“A hidden gem in copson street in withington. Great middle eastern and italian food. The food is freshly prepared. The pizza is italian style with a thin base. The foul is authentic and the kibbeh home made. Even the home made gourmet burgers are individually prepared and a world apart from fast food. Friendly staff and we have always had good service. Really good value for money, especially for families.”

“Was recommended this place years back when a student living in Manchester and loved their curries. Lived in many other cities due to jobs but relocated to the North West about 15 years ago and was delighted to see my old haunt was still going strong and run by the same family who treated me like a log lost friend when I popped in for a take away. I've now got my OH and the kids to enjoy the delights of this gem of a take away. My personal favourite chicken madras and naan bread but we've not had a poor dish from there. My kids love the korma and tikka masala and we always try another dish as the OH doesn't have a particular favourite, as long as its curry from there he's happy. This place is a real treat for us, living 30 mins away we don't go weekly but it is the best Indian take away we've visited and our food is still piping hot when we get home so its well worth the trek. The owners are a lovely family and always make you feel welcome, their food is amazingly good I cannot rate them highly enough.”

“Hidden Gem! Can’t express how amazing this place is! Really heart warming and wholesome food. You can definitely tell it’s cooked with tradition and love for their cuisine. Me and my friend ordered the fried chicken nasi lamek, kind prawn sambal, roti and chicken satay (the most tender and juicy chicken satay I’ve ever had in my life! Omfg) everything was unreal, cooked to perfection. We also got to chat with Aunty Lotus herself! Everything in this place really feels like your eating round your Malaysian / Asian aunties house!
