“First time trying blonde lady very friendly let us try sauce before ordering. Left pasta in photo is salmon and right picture is spicy chicken. Spicey chicken with mild sauce was really tasty glad I didn't have the spicey sauce as it would have been too spicy. Salmon was also tasty aswell which I never really eat. Decent portions we ordered two large pastas and two decent drinks for around 20 pound and we was that fill we didn't have the energy to finsh off shopping ha ha .”

“First (and won't be last!) visit to Punto today. Lovely clean, modern takeaway with friendly staff. Food was 5*. We ordered the meal deal (pizzas, kebab, chips, drinks) and the portion sizes were really generous and the quality was amazing! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐”

“We went to Terra & Mare on Christmas Day and it was absolutely amazing. I was in charge of booking a restaurant for our family Christmas Day meal. I found Terra & Mare online, and although the reviews were excellent, I was still a little apprehensive because I had never eaten there before and I just wanted everything to be perfect for ourselves and my parents. Well, thanks to all of the amazing staff at the Terra & Mare our Christmas Day was absolutely perfect. From the second that we walked through their doors, you could tell that you were in great hands. They immediately took our jackets and sat us at our table, then within a minute or two they brought us some drinks over. Every single member of staff was so attentive and couldn't do enough for you, and they did it all with a huge smile on their face. There were five of us in our party, and each and every course that we had was absolutely delicious, and there was nothing that you could fault. This was the first time that we had managed to be together as a family at Christmas for three years, so thank you to everyone at the Terra & Mare for helping to make this one absolutely perfect.”

“I had a very last minute event that I desperately needed a cake for. I contacted Mama’s cuisine and they graciously agreed to sort me out with a 12 inch cake. The owner only had a days notice and had other orders, but still managed to make mine, and had it ready earlier than agreed which was so great. Not only did the cake look DIVINE (and better than I could even imagine), but it tasted AMAZING! Everyone was so impressed with the cake, it actually became the centre piece of the party. I am forever grateful for Mamas Cuisine, and will most definitely be coming back! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!”

“Brilliant restaurant and a super evening - well recommended! Great service from the welcoming staff in a clean, classy and comfortable setting. Really good quality pizzas with tasty toppings. Only quibble was the spicy options and oils were not particularly hot or spicy. Will visit again!”

“This was a random stop to try the pizza since I was in the area. Every Italian shall be judged by their Margherita pizza and they passed very well, wood fired pizza done in less than 5 minutes like the waiter claimed. Tasted very fresh and the size was 12" so good value for the money. The crust of the bread or dough was not so airy but didn't taste chewy either. See photos attached.”

“Is it the pasta or the sauce? Set aside any fears of school dinner Mac and cheese, Sugo is on a different level altogether. Having lucked out on getting a table after 2 years of living nearby, I relished the chance to review them. The space is warm but snug. Large parties will struggle especially with COVID restrictions. Not an issue in summer, but a possible one in Winter. They’re dog friendly as they have some seating outside, so please specify this when booking. Onto the primi piatti! Expect luscious pasta cooked to the correct side of al dente. It seems to inhale the sauces that make use of the starch and premium stock in lieu of cream. All making for a far more palatable meal. And the sauce. The term does not do the flavours and texture justice. The melange of spices and components be they vegetarian or not, are sublime. Just a taste of the seafood pasta alone conveyed everything in one bite. Not to be outdone, their beverage selection is nothing short of brilliant. The chinotto brought back fond memories of Kinni cola. Sadly I did not have time to partake of dolce but will endeavour to do so next time.”

“Lovely surroundings, was seated and served straight away. Pizza came fast and was delicious, couldn't finish it as it was so big however asked for a takeout box and they were happy to do so, on way out ordered some deserts, if you like pistachio then I highly recommend. Already planning my next trip there soon.”

“Superb food, great dining experience and friendly staff. Never had a bad experience. All the staff are very welcoming and remember faces which is always a nice touch. Two of my favourite menu items (Rabbit starter and Beef Short Rib Starter) have been removed, but you are still inundated with choice. Servings are also great for an Italian. When you are inside, you actually forget that you are in Oldham. Highly recommended.”

“Sugo was recommended to me as a must eat when visiting Manchester and it did not disappoint. All of the food was absolutely delicious and so fresh. I’d really recommend the Cavatelli ‘verdure’ for main and the burrata. The restaurant was really busy, and had a good atmosphere and prices were really affordable given the quality of the food. Would book again next time I’m here!”

“Just walk-in to this restaurant around the corner of city center, a small entrance and it’s not big inside. Luckily not many people on Sunday afternoon. Very traditional and classic Italian style decor inside for dining area, with an English bar table reception. A number of choices on wine and drinks, but would love to see more selection for red wine. Several choices on starter, ranging from soup to bread and salad mostly. Didn’t tried the main, but the pasta section is enough to pick your favourable one although don’t know why risotto is classified under pasta. Food quality is exceptionally good. Of course you can’t compare it to those Michelin 3 stars restaurant as the price for food in this restaurant is more affordable. But considering the price and food quality, it is very value for money. I tried the Ravioli All’ Ara Gosta, it’s like Tortellini with Lobster meat crunch inside. Very special and good match with tomato and bisque sauce. The minestrone soup is rich with vegetables which I recommend personally. I don’t like the Pate much as the chicken liver taste very different from Foie gras, but given it is my first time to try chicken liver, why not give myself a trial.”

“Food was delicious, had the ribs to start well presented and the meat was really nice. Fillet stake with brollo sauce I had mine rare was cooked perfect. And order a garlic bread with cheese for the table that was delicious. Can't wait to go back.”

“Great food and from what we had it all tasted fresh and home made. We had spicy sausage specials starters, meatballs and spaghetti, seafood risotto cheesecake and tiramisu. Only thing letting the food down was the deserts didn't come with cream/ice cream which I think should be offered for the price. Service was fantastic and very professional. Overall a fantastic experience and well worth a visit.”

“Read an article in the Telegraph in which the writer raved about a Polish cheese called Oscypek. Being a cheese lover, I called at Krakow and asked if they had this cheese. Yes, they did and if you like a smoked, salty, sheeps milk cheese, this is one you will love. The staff are great too.”
