“Had a wonderful time at the September pop-up event, every course was absolutely delicious and presented beautifully. “Great burrito place in the Manchester city centre, on Oxford Street. A very simple menu which I found quite refreshing. All toppings are included in the price (you get good value for your money), no hidden extras at all, which, unfortunately, is very rare. Four different meats, five sauces too choose from and a variety of Mexican beers. You can also go for a quesadilla or some nachos. The staff are nice and friendly, the service is very quick. Nice interior with plenty of seating inside and outside.”

“Some of the best Shawarma if eaten, period, and very reasonably priced at that, costing now £3.50 for a chicken shawarma wrap. Best thing for me is the freshly cooked bread with every wrap! - makes it! Thought this place had closed down until recently, but it just moved from the the tiny adjacent shop to next door. Glad to know the Manchester staple is back. Great friendly service also. Highly recommend!”

“Really good experience. Staff were friendly and service was quick. Sat in there studying on my laptop during a fairly busy time for 3hrs and wasn’t bothered or asked to move etc. Would recommend this restaurant as a nandos to go to.”

“As always brilliant service from the staff..food was served quickly..it was cooked to perfection. Tried one of the burgers it was delicious..garlic bread was slightly hard but fries was excellent.. chicken was tender and flavorful. This is usually not too busy at lunch time so it is our one of the favourite places to go to .”

The Steak was tremendous, the salt n pepper fries - fluffy on the inside, crispy on the outside - and the optional garlic prawns (surf and turf) add-on were cooked to perfection. “Love the pizzas and garlic bread with cheese as they out tomato sauce on it but shame about the size of the garlic bread and cheese must be about 3-4inch and only 4 small slices. Pizza is well cooked and nice flavours. I love the cookiea from dominos nice and hot and gooey you get £4 cookies for close to £5.”

“After having a very very cold bus trip for 4h this restaurant was our salvation. From the outside one does not know what to expect, but once the door was opened we really got surprised. The warm and nice atmosphere inside made us enjoy the delicious lunch even more. The Spätzle tasted truly authentic, but at the same time had a touch of originality. We strongly recommend the Spätzle “Guanciale” (sadly not on the photos), which are a beautiful mix of different countries traditional plates. All in all this restaurant is something different and offers a nice variation of very interesting dishes and drinks. We strongly recommend it :)”

“It wasn't planned but we decided to try this Cafe which is in the area Chorlton, Manchester. My wife actually wanted to try some new dish in Vegetables. She ordered "Baba Ganouch Vegetables" (Potatoes, salad, roasted aubergine and humus with Pitta bread) and I ordered "Chicken Shawarma Wrap "with roasted vegetables and fried on the side with chilly sauce. Both items were cooked in front of me and were fresh. We really enjoyed our meal. It's a nice small cafe with good food. At least try it once. I will go again... I am gonna share some pictures which I took at the café of our own orders”

“An awesome place with superb grub. I had The Houston burger with added brisket and pickles. Really nice thick juicy patty and high quality bacon & brisket. Just the right amount of sauce too. The bun was light but also held firm with the filling. The iron brew chicken fries were also delicious. Not a big fan of regular fries but these were crisp, fresh and well seasoned. Huge portion too! I also had tasty bbq beans and some refreshing coleslaw to cap a brilliant tray of food. A delightful experience in a quirky establishment with terrific friendly staff. Highly recommend trying it for yourselves.”

“I honestly tried to find a problem with this place, but the whole experience, from the warm greeting from the proprietor to the end of the food, you feel like it's a different experience. The quality of the food is sublime, everything cooked to perfection and prepared with such precision and detail that you almost forget that you're having a takeaway burger in your lounge. The owner was very excited and happy to tell us the story of how he got the idea to start this business. Upon hearing we hadn't been before, the owner, as he wanted our opinion on them, he handed us a taste of their Pitt beans, which were incredible. The taste is almost impossible to describe except "wow!" Overall, if you're after an upmarket burger, full of flavors, and sides that will blow your mind, then this is the place for you. There is car parking and also, they are coordinating order collection times brilliantly to avoid gatherings of people at their premesis. Well done guys!”

“I don't know where u come from or how long u have been open for. I am not african but my husband is and he is very frustrated with sand in egusi and beef not being fried enough or plantain being burnt ....he even stopped eating..until tonight where our local restraunt was closed and just by chance an angel pointed us in your direction...we thaught nooo not another one but as soon as we opend our food we smelt freshness the plantain was like heaven the egusi yummy and u get enough meat with ur rice. U will soon be hearing from us again :)”

“I have been looking for a Vietnamese restaurant to fill my palate since I have been in England and Scotland for over 40 days. Nothing was in comparison to what I am used to back in California where I grew up until I ate at Viet Guy. The atmosphere is a classy Vietnamese restaurant like in Little Saigon in Westminster California when it became a haven for Vietnamese Food and businesses in the 80s. Manchester you are very lucky. This review was from dining here for six days while waiting for my departure back to the USA. There will be one more time before we go to make it lucky 7.”

“Hidden Gem! Can’t express how amazing this place is! Really heart warming and wholesome food. You can definitely tell it’s cooked with tradition and love for their cuisine. Me and my friend ordered the fried chicken nasi lamek, kind prawn sambal, roti and chicken satay (the most tender and juicy chicken satay I’ve ever had in my life! Omfg) everything was unreal, cooked to perfection. We also got to chat with Aunty Lotus herself! Everything in this place really feels like your eating round your Malaysian / Asian aunties house! Highly recommend and will definitely be coming back.”

“Definitely a hidden greek gem in Eccles. I came here with one of my best friend that she is greek and se highly recommended it. Staff were very friendly and so happy to explain me which was the best way to try the dishes. Food is extraordinary and also massively loaded, each bite all the sauce and food was going everywhere. Atmosphere is quite like a small greek restaurant, very close and very few sits a available but very cozy. Highly recommended with high quality food. Willing to eat greek food? Must be from here!”
