The Albert Hotel
● Open“Spotless, modern rooms and facilities with old-time, personal hospitality, in this great local pub stay, after a day in the Peaks, or en-route somewhere. MUCH better than similarly priced options in the dull and disinterested franchise travel hotels in the area. .”

Springfield Hotel
● Open99 Station Road, Marple, Stockport SK6 6PA, United Kingdom“We have stayed here twice in the past & found Kevin to be the perfect host. How people who have never stayed there can comment on the Springfield based on a TV program says more about them than it does about Kevin. How would they like their business run down by people who have not used it? The room was perfect for our needs & the breakfast more than adequate & cooked exactly to our liking. Kevin even offered to give us a lift to a local club as it was raining. We plan on staying again in the near future as soon as the current situation eases and the Springfield will definitely be our first choice in the area. My advice to anyone thinking of staying here? Read reviews of customers & not sad couch potatoes.”

Britannia Hotel Stockport
● Open95 Dialstone Lane, Stockport SK2 6AG, United Kingdom“The staff are fantastic at this hotel. I stayed with my dog and nothing was too much trouble. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. There was a bit of noise from some of the other rooms but nothing too bad. Mainly young people enjoying themselves so it quietened down after a minute or so.”

Trivelles Mayfair
● Closed“Wasn't expecting much following the reviews on here, but make a judgement for yourself as I found the staff and the hotel to be pleasant- some of the guests less so! I stayed for work over a period of a few days, and it's clear that its the same staff every day from reception open till close. Im unsure if they are also the owners but it gives a very 'family run' style feel that is comforting. After my first night, I was asked how I was coping with the warm weather and to be sure to ask if I needed anything. I was also periodically asked how the room was, and felt extremely safe as a female travelling solo. The hotel is on a main road, but is neighbouring a nice residential area and a church, which gives it a peaceful feel. The amenities in the room are fantastic, the fridge and microwave honestly looked brand new. I'll be honest in that I brought antibacterial wipes to clean the sides following some reviews, but the wipes were as clean as they were fresh out of the packet after wiping down all the surfaces. While the room itself is a tad dated, it has more character than your standard travelodge! Honestly a great hotel with pleasant staff. Can't fault it and honestly wish I was working in the area again to return!”
