“We were very satisfied with Zizzi. Everything was very tasty, fresh and super quick. We did not wait long to get our order on our table. Staff were polite and willing to help you. The atmosphere in the restaurant was very good, it is very well decorated and you can actually see the kitchen and the pizza oven! It is a bit pricey for the portions you get but you get compensated by the quality of the food. Definitely worth it.”

The dishes are much more interesting than your usual Indian restaurant - with so much more flavour and beautifully presented. “We went to Terra & Mare on Christmas Day and it was absolutely amazing. I was in charge of booking a restaurant for our family Christmas Day meal. I found Terra & Mare online, and although the reviews were excellent, I was still a little apprehensive because I had never eaten there before and I just wanted everything to be perfect for ourselves and my parents. Well, thanks to all of the amazing staff at the Terra & Mare our Christmas Day was absolutely perfect. From the second that we walked through their doors, you could tell that you were in great hands. They immediately took our jackets and sat us at our table, then within a minute or two they brought us some drinks over. Every single member of staff was so attentive and couldn't do enough for you, and they did it all with a huge smile on their face. There were five of us in our party, and each and every course that we had was absolutely delicious, and there was nothing that you could fault. This was the first time that we had managed to be together as a family at Christmas for three years, so thank you to everyone at the Terra & Mare for helping to make this one absolutely perfect.”

“I don't think they deliver, but it's worth collecting from as it's a very friendly, welcoming, nice place. I've ordered for pick up quite afew times and the food's ready not long after I arrive. This is a top Indian restaurant, I always order knowing the food will be top quality because they never let us down. It's always clean, it can get very busy during the bank holidays. There is parking at the back of Sainsbury's.”

“Called in 4 days ago when everywhere was snowed under and the roads were deadly with ice! The absolutely lovely landlady came rushing to the door and guided us into the warmth. She had one of the staff make a hot coffee for my husband free! I bought a lager and lime which was just perfect. While we were there two paramedics called in to use the toilets; and again, the landlady made them both a cup of coffee free of charge! What a lovely, down to earth lady! The other staff were friendly too. Really nice, traditional pub with wonderfully welcoming staff. Highly recommended! ☺️”

“Strines Nightingale shows their is hope for an incredible venue, after death by annexed strangulation, that has been dished out by the corporate drinks industry to the independent pubs in the High Peaks. There’s nowhere you’d rather be locally. The type of place you’ll realise makes you want to relocate to the area. All whilst listening to music worthy of James Ford short. It’s effortless. You won’t be disappointed. A credit to the area.”

“Great authentic Italian restaurant, the courtyard makes you feel like you're in Southern Italy! Food is great quality and freshly made on the night. The pizza was smaller than I anticipated but that allowed for a more well rounded meal than you might get at another Italian restaurant as we also had room for a starter and a dessert. Covid safe and staff were very helpful and friendly.”
