“Lovely pub/restaurant. Very friendly staff and the food is fab. The crispy duck salad was especially tasty! We had lunch out in the garden - beautiful setting overlooking the river. So peaceful and picturesque.”
Swimtime Stockport (Village Gym Cheadle)
“Rasa swimming pool wed Apr homes gomectheac Yas college Cheadle”
Britannia Hotel Stockport
“The staff are fantastic at this hotel. I stayed with my dog and nothing was too much trouble. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. There was a bit of noise from some of the other rooms but nothing too bad. Mainly young people enjoying themselves so it quietened down after a minute or so.”
Marjoe's Coffee
“An almost weekly visit from me for the best coffee and wrap in bramhall! Great chilled atmosphere and the menu isn't usual boring! Coffee is very good!”
I Knead Pizza
“Amazing pizza and friendly staff. Made fresh in front of you whilst you wait. Not the cheapest but definitely worth it.”
Funky Monkey
“Absolutely love it here. Went last week for the first time in a couple of years and the layout has really improved, felt more spacious. Very child friendly too . The staff were lovely and the food and drinks were great!”
Keg Pool, Etherow
“A lovely place for a walk. Can get busy at weekends and when the sun is out but definitely worth a visit. There is ample parking, toilets and a cafe. There is also a little garden centre which also sells teas, coffees and ice creams. Beutiful country side right on our doorstep.”
Reddish Vale Farm
“Wow! What a magical experience! We always have a great time at Reddish Vale Farm but the Santa Experience was something else. The amount of creativity and magical touches that have gone into creating magic and memories blew me away. The outfits are amazing , the decorations are spot on, the Christmas trees are huge and it all really makes you feel like you are at the North Pole. My son is 5 but I can see us going for a few years to come as it was so cleverly done and watching his face take in all the magic was so wonderful. There are even silly things for the Adults to spot like the Elf and Safety poster and there are photographs in Santa’s grotto of the actual actors. All the elves and Santa were brilliant but my personal favourite was Mrs Claus you are a star. The experience is so organised there are no long waits and it all feels covid safe you need to wear a mask but the spaces are large and well ventilated and some of it is outside too. We couldn’t believe how much you got to do and keep there was an large plush Elf toy that you stuffed yourself and an elf certificate then a letter to Santa and then a gingerbread decorating session which you could eat or take home and hot chocolate for the parents. They got sweets from the elf shop and then the usual toy from Santa was age specific and not one of those that falls apart on the way home! To anyone wondering if it’s worth the money it absolutely is, go for it!”
Brabyns Park
“lovely park to visit all year round, even better in autumn with the falling leaves”

“Great house to visit. Fascinating history and great interior and good walks. Odd cafe system forced us to eat a meal outside but could have eaten inside if we had only had cake. So Odd!!!”

The Oddfellows Arms | Mellor
“Had the steak dinner which comes with a bottle of wine on certain nights. We went on a Thursday. The food was superb. Perfectly cooked steak. A good range of local beers available also.”
Nice knight
“It tasted just like Hong Kong. Hong Kong French Toast, Hong Kong milk tea, bubble tea, noodles, et cetera. It's like home away from home. Highly recommended. I very much look forward to my next visit. Next time, I'll try the coriander heaven. Furthermore, I was given the Anson Kong/Lokman Yeung flyer, my wife was chuffed to bits. Finally, the staff were extremely friendly. I wish them the best in their future endeavours. ”
Timperley Fish Bar
“So happy to have found this place; twice I’ve had fish & chips from there now and it is the best fish & chips I’ve ever had. Usually when ordering fish & chips from places, I will eat the fish and a few of the chips and bin the rest. On both occasions, I have actually enjoyed eating the chips as well as the fish, as the chips in this place are perfection itself! The fish is freshly cooked to order and they don’t hang around, they’re ‘on it’ as soon as you’ve placed your order. Cannot recommend this place highly enough.”
The Spinning Top
“Lovely, small, old fashioned blues club. Always worth a visit if you are in the area. Small range of draught beers, but virtually, every spirit known to man!”
Double Ds Cafe
“Excellent food and service great friendly people all around awesome place”
Reddish Vale Country Park, Waterfall, Manchester
“Very nice local place but the local community need to value this beautiful place it’s an asset for Stockport Council please look-after and be respectful to the visitors”
Vernon Park
“Spent a pleasant hour wandering through the park whilst waiting for a friend who had gone for a run. Classic Victorian/Edwardian layout and full of interesting features, trees and plants. Not to be missed!”
Poynton Park
“This is a lovely park, not massive but very well kept with a couple of car park options if driving to it. The park has a lake which can be walked round, and grassland which when we went had sheep and lambs wandering around. Its a nice area, if you are expecting a long walk however, you'll probably need somewhere much bigger - but great if you have small people or just need to take dog out for a stretch of the legs!”
Alexandra Park
“Our recent visit was just as good as the last with an added kiosk to buy a coffee too :) my son (3) loves the skate park with his scooter too.”

“Had a great experience here. Staff were welcoming and professional. The pub and beer garden were clean and well kept. Food was fantastic and reasonably priced. Like that they use local suppliers. Beer quality and choice was also very good. Dog friendly. Would recommended.”
