“Great stay at the Cornerstones guest house. Spotlessly clean room - nice decor and loads of space. Had all the comforts I needed including a hairdryer. Lovely big bathroom, excellent shower and loads of space to put all my bits and pieces out. Free parking included. Lovely welcome and top notch host. Excellent vale for money.”

“We had a good experience purchasing our first home through Lawler & Co Hazel Grove. Clare was a great help from our first viewing right up to completion day, she kept us up to day throughout the process and made it smooth sailing for our first purchase. Lawler &Co are a welcoming estate agents, who from the first call when requesting a viewing don't straight away push other services onto you, which we experienced alot on our home buying journey when ringing other EAs. They did help along the way with recommendations for surveyors/solicitors who are all local if we wanted them, but we're never pushy. I would recommend to others, and if we do decide to move on Lawler & Co will be the route we take. Thanks again to Clare and the team.”

“Lovely surroundings, was seated and served straight away. Pizza came fast and was delicious, couldn't finish it as it was so big however asked for a takeout box and they were happy to do so, on way out ordered some deserts, if you like pistachio then I highly recommend. Already planning my next trip there soon.”

“Wow! We had an amazing dinner, and rather by accident. We were trying to drop in at Rudy’s to celebrate some spontaneous good news, but hadn’t made a reservation. Feeling a little gutted, we happened upon Borrello while heading back to Sale High Street… The food was amazing! The pan-fried prawns were deliciously zesty and crisp, and the stewed ribs were just so flavourful and hearty; just beautiful! I had a Mushroom Risotto with Truffle Oil, and my partner had the catch of the day (Lemon Butter Sole with Truffle Chips). Aside from feeling so fancy, the flavours were all perfectly and delicately balanced. My partner finished her meal with fudge cake and ice cream, which she polished off neatly. I was way too full for dessert. The portion sizes are big, in my opinion, but the food tasted so good we put away the lot with no problem. My eyes feel like they’re about to pop, but I’m very satisfied. Excellent service, great atmosphere (lovely decor - the walls are impressive) and reasonably priced too for the experience. We had a great time and hope you do too!”

“Superb chippy. My only criticism is it doesn't deliver! That said it doesn't distract from me awarding them 5 stars. The staff are friendly and accommodating and haply for you to call in to place your order and collect at a specified time. The menu is comprehensive and their vegetarian selection is one of the best I've seen. Reasonably priced and good sized portions. All in all fantastic value for money. Keep up the good work.”

“Lovely staff. The coffee is lovely and very quick. No plastic cutlery, all recyclable wood. If the benches outside are wet they will cheerfully provide a dry sheet of cardboard or a plastic bag to sit on. Sausages cooked to order for your dog. They like dogs!”

“In the 9 years I have been a tenant with Kevin and his team at Lynks I can not complain about anything. If there is ever anything needed to be fixed in the property or investment into keeping it maintained someone is always there. The customer service is always professional with a personal touch too, the best estate agents I know and would 100% recommend them to family or friends because you know they would be well looked after!”

“Rukiya and Beverley both provided amazing service. The minute we stepped foot, we felt very welcomed. They both took the time to explain the menu and ensured we were served in a timely manner despite it being a very busy Sunday afternoon and ordering as a large group of 6. As a Muslim, finding a halal place was important to us, everything meat based was halal! The food was very fresh and delicious. We were also served tasty hot drinks (e.g. Masala drink) - just what we needed after a long cold weekend hike. My favourite dessert was the cheese based scones with cream and chilli jam. Very accessible from the main hiking trails. I will definitely be coming back.”

“Lovely place for a walk. There are paths that take you towards Sale Water Park, Chorlton Water Park and so on. Brilliant for dog walkers and there are playing fields for football or just to relax. Beautiful scenery, especially near the River Mersey. Free Parking.”

“We decided to try Sokrates for our first restaurant meal out after having just moved to Sale from Birmingham. I have a soft spot for Greek food, but being vegetarians we have found in the past it can be difficult to find authentic and tasty veggie Greek food in the UK. At Sokrates we had a great experience. We ordered the vegetable moussaka which comes served with a small portion of Greek salad, and the four dip selection which comes with a basket of hot pitta bread. We decided to share the good between us The moussaka was a very generous portion and easily fed the two of us. The flavour was incredible. A lovely warmth from the traditional spicing of allspice, nutmeg, clove, and bayleaf. The dips were also very tasty, I especially enjoyed the beetroot skordalia. It had a wonderful glow of garlic. The interior is that of a homely traditional taverna, with plenty of tables of different sizes. The staff are friendly and generous.”

“Always a pleasure to dine here, this was a Sunday and not very busy but probably due to the fact that it has been a very hot day with a lovely evening and most people were probably still outdoors. I had the King prawn Shashlik which as ever was cooked to perfection, my wife had Tandoori chicken which was moist, juicy and full of flavour, there were a few of us and we all enjoyed our meals immensely. Ate here again and had the Shashlik again no complaints.”
