Elaf Lebanese restaurant
● Closed“Date of visit: December 2021 Came here for birthday celebrations I had the chicken kebab which was delicious and tender. The kebabs don't come with salad or carb sides so need to order separately. It's bring your own alcohol. Not perfectly wheelchair accessible but managed to get a space onto the table without much fuss over the step. Staff were lovely. Nice decor. Book in advance at busy times.”

Manchester Fresh Shawarma
● Closed114 Wilmslow Road, Manchester M14 5AJ, United Kingdom“Some of the best Shawarma if eaten, period, and very reasonably priced at that, costing now £3.50 for a chicken shawarma wrap. Best thing for me is the freshly cooked bread with every wrap! - makes it! Thought this place had closed down until recently, but it just moved from the the tiny adjacent shop to next door. Glad to know the Manchester staple is back. Great friendly service also. Highly recommend!”

YARA Restaurant
● Closed478 Wilbraham Road, Chorlton-cum-Hardy, Manchester M21 9AS, United Kingdom“We came on a Sunday afternoon for a light lunch. There was not a single other person here.. However, having said that it's a nicely presented place with white napkins and tablecloths, the service was great and the food was to die for. They also serve alcohol unlike some middle eastern restaurants and the house wine was delicious and very reasonably priced. Overall I would highly recommend!!”

Slemani Restaurant Manchester
● Closed100 Wilmslow Road, Rusholme, Manchester M14 5AJ, United Kingdom“Simply the best place in Manchester for a kebab (or mixed grill) and naan. 10/10. The food is delicious. Free soup (with nice spices) and truly unlimited Kurdish tea. The service is exquisite. The restaurant is busy, spacious and they really look after you when it comes to going above and beyond, e.g. birthday celebrations etc. Great facilities. A diamond in the rough. There is another Kurdish restaurant on this street that needs to take lessons from Slemani. The other restaurant took 1 hour+ for service, indeed the service was non-existent. The soup was cold at the other restaurant. The tea didn't arrive. Facilities were dated. The whole experience was sub-optimal.”

Erbil Shawarma
● Closed“Stumbled across this place by mistake. Well, it was a great mistake because the food was amazing. Very quick, tasty and fresh. It wasn’t bland, and the bread they used was soft and fresh too, the sauces used made the shawarma extra tasty. Recommend it for sure and would definitely visit again. Not too pricey either.”

My Greek Street Food Eccles
● Closed494 Liverpool Road, Peel Green, Eccles, Manchester M30 7HZ, United Kingdom“Definitely a hidden greek gem in Eccles. I came here with one of my best friend that she is greek and se highly recommended it. Staff were very friendly and so happy to explain me which was the best way to try the dishes. Food is extraordinary and also massively loaded, each bite all the sauce and food was going everywhere. Atmosphere is quite like a small greek restaurant, very close and very few sits a available but very cozy. Highly recommended with high quality food. Willing to eat greek food? Must be from here!”

Lebanese Shawarma
● Closed17 Union Street, Oldham OL1 1HA, United Kingdom“Delicious food, nothing I can fault, the chicken wasn't dry, the bread was superb. It has a sitting area that's clean and comfortable. I didn't go upstairs, but maybe they have more sitting space there. We tend to order from there or eat there once a week :). It's better when we eat there though.”

Baity Palestinian Kitchen
● Closed“This place was recommended to me by my client as I was over from ireland on work. First time ever having Palestinian food. The restaurant was clean and inviting. I was welcomed warmly by the waitresses and the lady took time to explain the dishes to me and recommend one. The food was absolutely heavenly I have never tasted flavours like that which complimented each other so well. The humous was silky smooth with subtle hints of spice and garlic through it. The bread it was served with was warm which was an excellent touch to the dish. I ordered the Chicken dish and it was succulent tender and the meat fell off the bone. I cannot recommend this place highly enough or explain the flavours in a way that will do it justice you have to try it to understand”
