Their friendliness and professionalism put me at ease, the op was a great success, and I was offered coffee, biscuits, toast and juice on several occasions. “I have used this pharmacy for many years and I have always found the staff very friendly. Yes, it takes a while to get your prescriptions done, but I don't think people realise that there are very strict procedures to follow when filling out the prescriptions, you can't just grab the meds and throw them in a bag. Also, if the "horrible" woman is who I think it is from the description, then I have to disagree, she is a lovely lady who knows the regulars and always has time for them. She is extremely competent at her job and will go out of her way to help you with your meds and any questions you have about them or any products in the shop.”

Given the strain on gp practices currently this hasn't dimmed the level of care this practice gives. “Shocking. I have previously left a good review because of Dr Hannan who is a brilliant doctor and this review has nothing to do with them. I went to my doctor 7 months ago about symptoms I have been experiencing which I have been worried about. I can’t remember exactly how long I waited for that appointment but I think it was about 6 weeks, I had a blood test and got results quickly. I had to have another blood test 3 months after. When I rang to book it the waiting time was 6 weeks. I’ve had to wait over 2 weeks for the results after the blood test and that’s because I had to contact them. Every time I phone I get told to phone back tomorrow. I have tried 5 or 6 times now. No one picks up on the line to call through to get results so I have to pick the appointments option and getting through is terrible. I’ve been with this surgery all my life but I am now going to change.”

“I am relatively new to this practice, but they were very supportive and helpful at my time of serious need. All the staff have been great, I have learned a lot, since what has happened to me, that there are people who are much worse off than ourselves, even if we are having a very difficult time. You may not realise what is going on in the background, or how they are looking after people in a dignified respectful way. Nothing is perfect, but in my experience, the staff and doctors, have done everything to sort things out for me. I may not be finished with their help and support yet, but I truly thankful.”
