“Went in because I was sick of my overgrown hair that was refusing to be tamed. I asked for a 2 on the sides and a 5 on the top. The owner said to me "Fiiiive????" and I said yes, and then he questioned me again before telling me that in his opinion that was too short and that a scissor cut would look better. I went with his suggestion, but I'm sure if I had said I wanted it, he would have done it. I have always asked hairdressers for their opinion on my hair but they never want to give it, so I appreciated this. The attention to detail is great - guy clearly knows his hair too. “I recently collected my ring from Lester & Brown and I am delighted with it. I had an eternity ring that sat unworn in my jewellery box and my friend persuaded me to take it to Lester & Brown. I am so glad I did!! David spent time talking through options and then sent me photographs of CAD designs so I could look at the stones in different settings. The service that David and Ian provided was fabulous from start to finish. I would not hesitate to recommend them!”

“I am in awe of the amount of effort Chris put in today for the very reasonable price he charged. He was here nearly all day and has done exactly what he said he was going to do. He cleaned two small roofs which badly needed doing , all the gutters and all the York stone in the back garden. He has done an outstanding job and I would thoroughly recommend him. My only concern is that he will become so popular I might not be able to book him for next year so I am going to do that now! What a worker. Well done Chris and thank you for your efforts. Danielle the hairdresser was very professional and talked me though the process answering all my questions. She gave me recommendations of how to style my hair and which products would be best for me. Overall my experience was great here and I will be back when I can.”
