“What a joy to step into (excuse the pun) such a great shoe shop. Marvellous customer service. Danny and his whole family work together to make it a pleasant experience. The range of shoes is great. I have to have comfortable fitting shoes and I've found a gem of a shoe shop that supplies such high quality, comfortable fitting shoes. More importantly wider fitting ones too! In the past I've walked long distance and endured the pain but with Allens footwear I'm now able to to walk long distance in amazing pain-free comfort. You can't go wrong with such a fantastic choice.”

“Really friendly and helpful staff. Really good selection of clothes and far bigger than I thought it was from the outside. They have some great pieces and brands including Motel and Cornish Seasalt, amongst others, and some vintage bits. Plus jewellery and accessories. Nice and eclectic, super cosy and stress free shopping. Could spend hours pootling!”

“Due to my son having additional needs I pre -booked an appointment with this store for a shoe fitting for my son before they opened. He has autism and really struggles with busy places and loud noises. I was so grateful to Jane for helping me sort this appointment out as it's always been a challenge to get him measured for shoes. I usually do it at home myself which was always very difficult. She reassured me on the phone that she would get him all sorted and I certainly did. Jane and Liv were amazing with my son, Liv was able to get him measured for the first time ever in a shop and it was amazing how they both engaged with my son and made it a great experience for him and us too! I honestly can't recommend this store enough! They were amazing! We will 100% be returning when he needs some more shoes. Thank you so much to Jane and Liv :)”

“Located in the brilliant Manchester arndale, after being used to the bolton new look I have to say I was really surprised when I came to visit the one in Manchester. Normally the menswear section is tiny in comparison to the women's but here there is a lot to choose from. Really nice, clean and modern inside and has nearly everything you can see on the website.”

“Nicely layed out and enough space to walk around freely without having to feel like the shop is trying to bombard you with 50 thousand different options of clothing at every turn. The staff were helpful and the shop was clean and smelt nice. It was a good shopping experience. Quite a large area for something so far away from the city centre.”
