The place was very busy (and so quite noisy, hence only 4 out of 5 for the atmosphere). But the team were on top of it with not long to wait for food. Great job. Our 'server', Savannah, was brilliant. So friendly, helpful and polite. Very attentive without smothering us. I noticed every time she passed our table she had a quick look to see if drinks needed refreshing, where we were at with food, etc. She (like the rest of the staff) were working really hard. “My husband and I drove for 4 hours to try out Loaf sofas and it was very worthwhile journey. The staff immediately offered us a welcome bottle of chilled water, they let us browse but were attentive when we had questions, they were very generous with their time but with absolutely no hard sell and they were very knowledgeable about the products. We returned home very content with the sofa, armchair and chaise we have chosen and we look forward to seeing them in our new home. “Wow! We had an amazing dinner, and rather by accident. We were trying to drop in at Rudy’s to celebrate some spontaneous good news, but hadn’t made a reservation. Feeling a little gutted, we happened upon Borrello while heading back to Sale High Street… The food was amazing! The pan-fried prawns were deliciously zesty and crisp, and the stewed ribs were just so flavourful and hearty; just beautiful! I had a Mushroom Risotto with Truffle Oil, and my partner had the catch of the day (Lemon Butter Sole with Truffle Chips). Aside from feeling so fancy, the flavours were all perfectly and delicately balanced. My partner finished her meal with fudge cake and ice cream, which she polished off neatly. I was way too full for dessert. The portion sizes are big, in my opinion, but the food tasted so good we put away the lot with no problem. My eyes feel like they’re about to pop, but I’m very satisfied. Excellent service, great atmosphere (lovely decor - the walls are impressive) and reasonably priced too for the experience. “Lovely staff. The coffee is lovely and very quick. No plastic cutlery, all recyclable wood. If the benches outside are wet they will cheerfully provide a dry sheet of cardboard or a plastic bag to sit on. Sausages cooked to order for your dog. They like dogs!”

“Always a pleasure to dine here, this was a Sunday and not very busy but probably due to the fact that it has been a very hot day with a lovely evening and most people were probably still outdoors. I had the King prawn Shashlik which as ever was cooked to perfection, my wife had Tandoori chicken which was moist, juicy and full of flavour, there were a few of us and we all enjoyed our meals immensely. From the outside the restaurant appears small but like a tar dis inside ,very clean and elegant and sophisticated. Staff polite and helpful give u enough time to order. Excellent selection of food to choose from, cooked to order and delicious with good portion control . Will return. Would recommend for ladies for baby shower and hen celebrations and family groups also. Manager told me they had ABBA night which was well attended so have requests for a return . “Best hotel I have ever stayed at. Reception staff are lovely and they offer room service. All of their food is delicious from the restaurant and when delivered to rooms. They have a hot tub as well as a pool (though they don't allow kids in it). Well cleaned, baths and showers are well maintained but you may need to ask for a fan in the summer as the windows don't open fully. Only thing to watch out for (especially for business travellers) is if you require wifi access for more than 1 hour, you have to pay extra.”

I assumed it was going to be sweet as I ordered strawberry but it was very bitter with a lemon taste, which at £9 is very expensive for what it was.”
