The Manchester College
● Closed“The Manchester College is the largest further education college in the United Kingdom. It is the largest provider of 16–19 and adult education in Greater Manchester. The origins of the college go back to the early 19th century St. John's Sunday school, a pioneering school for workers. By the 1950s this had evolved into St John's and Openshaw Technical College. Later mergers created the Central College Manchester which became The Manchester College of Arts and Technology in Manchester, while institutions in Central Manchester, Fielden Park, Arden and Wythenshawe merged to form City College Manchester. In 2008 these two combined to form The Manchester College. The Manchester College offers courses for school leavers, adults, higher education students, employers and international students. The Manchester College is based at many sites in the city: these include Moston, Abraham Moss Community School, One Central Park, Manchester Enterprise Academy, the sixth form of St Matthew's RC High School and Harpurhey in the North; Openshaw, Preston Street, Welcomb Street, Nicholls Campus in Ardwick[9] and the Manchester School of Building in the East; Fielden Park (Didsbury), Northenden, Wythenshawe Forum and Brownley Green Wythenshawe in the South; locations in the city centre include St John's in Castlefield, Lever Street, and Shena Simon Campus in Chorlton Street in Manchester city centre. As well as this, the college are due to build a new site on the old Boddingtons' site - opposite the Manchester Arena. The MOL division specialises in delivering professional development training programmes by flexible learning. MOL has existed for more than 30 years providing HR, management, estate agency, construction and electrical engineering courses. Many courses are delivered in partnership with professional bodies such as the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD), the Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) and the National Federation of Property Professionals (NFOPP). The Manchester College delivers learning and skills services to offenders in 42 secure establishments throughout England and in two probation areas. The services are contracted in both the private and public sectors to all categories of offender.”

EF International Language Campus - English courses in Manchester
● Closed“I spent 2 months in EF Manchester last year and It was such a wonderful experience, so good that I made the decision to come back. Now, for 3 months, I'm doing an internship (other program they offer). The staff is really friendly and thoughtful (Diana and Krish are my favourites =D), they always make me feel like I'm at home. Weather and food are not the best, but all the people that you can meet absolutely make up for. Other important thing is the teachers, they are great, and if you follow the rule number one (Speak only in English) you can quickly improve your English. Every week there are different activities, so it's impossible get bored. And the last thing important for me, Manchester is located in the heart of UK, so it's really easy travel around =)”

The Manchester College
● Closed“I studied my TA apprenticeship with Debbie B and Nicola H back in 2014! I want to thank you both for motivating me and pushing me to complete the course. I really appreciated your care, time and effort you both put in for me. I was made permanent by my line manager and have been at the school for 9years now. I am now looking to retrain in business administration and computing. I will be choosing Manchester college again as the tutors do care about their students. I'm unsure what campus you both are at or if you even work with the college anymore. I hope that the next tutors I get are as dedicated as you were to me and my achievement. I am eternally grateful to you both. I know it's been 9years but I hope you get to read this. I've been busy working hard and applying all the skills you both taught me. I am now finally getting to write this To thank you both!!”
