“Only had cake and a drink but service was quick and friendly. Breakfasts looked fantastic and the number of people ordering them speaks volumes for popularity and quality, so don't believe you'd be disappointed. Would recommend and likely have a breakfast next time!”

“Sextons is a bakery , coffee and brunch place as well. The quality of all products i ve tried exceed my expectations. The location is just lovely, touching the river. “Stopped here for lunch on my way to Wales. Firstly, Naomi was an amazing host, very friendly and super helpful. Good variety of Tapas and drinks, some better than others, but all very good. I would highly recommend the olives, and the deep fried Brie, and definately ask to sit in Naomi’s section :) Well worth a visit.”

“We had a meal here on Saturday night to celebrate Mothers Day with the in-laws. We cannot fault anything. Service was spot on, the food was incredible, and the drinks menu was great. I had the prawn salad to start and the lamb for main. All perfect. My wife is a vegetarian and was very pleased with everything on offer. I generally find beers in restaurants are very average on choice, and especially draught beer in restaurants to be flat, or not poured correctly, but I was in for a surprise. Not just the fact they had Neck Oil on the menu on draught, but it was a very good pint. If I had to give 6 stars I would. Very impressed.”

“We eat here tonight, a busy Friday, we got a table in the dog friendly section with our pup. All of the bar and serving staff were friendly, helpful and generally fantastic. Food was lovely and we didn't wait long despite it being busy.”

“Very impressed with The Crown. Came for an unexpected visit after The Little Manor pub in Thelwall was full and couldn't serve us. The Crown has a very pleasant modern layout inside which you wouldn't expect seeing it from the outside. The food menu was a little bit limited on choice, but that was fine as the food we had was lovely. The staff are all very pleasant and very welcoming even though we had never been here before. And most important and a huge bonus to The Crown they welcome dogs. This will definitely be on my list of regular places to visit.”

“Some Pizza Express are terrible, this is the exception, staff were brilliant, menu offers gluten free options. Try the ricotta and date desert, it's awesome. Only thing is that many pizzas had smoked veg/meat. I can't eat smoked food due to allergy so my choice was limited a little.”

“Only a quick visit but seems nice. Large outdoor beer garden with views of barges going by. Outdoor heaters and tv. Didn't eat but looks like good menu including kids menu and food smells nice.”

The Steak was tremendous, the salt n pepper fries - fluffy on the inside, crispy on the outside - and the optional garlic prawns (surf and turf) add-on were cooked to perfection. Really wish this small business every success as what they are doing is wonderful.”

“What an amazing meal. We came in on Saturday night and were warmly greeted by the manager Andy. It was my mums birthday and the table was set up with a birthday balloon to add a special touch to the occasion. starters were so nice, especially the parmo croquettas! The steaks were equally as tasty and so flavoursome, and with or without extra sides, we all were stuffed by the end. Our server Emily was very friendly and polite and made sure everything was all good with the meal. They even brought out a birthday board for my mum to finish off the night. 100% recommend, thank you for the great night!”

“Absolute restaurant quality food at home. My only criticism is that the rice box wasn't a rice box, but the Thai Green Curry, boneless ribs and Salt n Pepper noodles were all sensational.”
