“An awesome place with superb grub. I had The Houston burger with added brisket and pickles. Really nice thick juicy patty and high quality bacon & brisket. Just the right amount of sauce too. The bun was light but also held firm with the filling. The iron brew chicken fries were also delicious. Not a big fan of regular fries but these were crisp, fresh and well seasoned. Huge portion too! I also had tasty bbq beans and some refreshing coleslaw to cap a brilliant tray of food. A delightful experience in a quirky establishment with terrific friendly staff. Highly recommend trying it for yourselves.”

“I ordered a mixed platter of baked goodies for my salon opening and they could not have been more perfect! The staff went to the trouble of having my logo printed onto my cakes and biscuits which looked fantastic and they all tasted amazing particularly the cupcakes and biscuits. I also pop in here for a coffee from time to time as it’s the best coffee around, the cafe is a lovely atmosphere, so clean and the staff always so warm and friendly. Thank you.”

“Just got back from a one night stay and it was excellent. The room was spotlessly clean, the staff were extremely helpful. After a long drive up from Bristol it was perfect to pop next door and have a couple of beers. The breakfast was great, they catered for the vegetarians amongst us with no problems. We will definitely be staying here again Thank you”

“Great pub to drink in. The last 2 reviews were customers who had gone in for free drinks every day. Landlady with the blueish hair had tried to explain to them that it was one free drink per week for regular customers and they took offence. The landlady and the 2 girls who were working the bar were doing a great job with the covid rules and tried their hardest to meet everyones demands.”

“Beautiful food, my partner had a stack I went for surf and turf... Very nice.... They was a little under staffed due to ill staff,,, it was a Friday night! The young lady that seated us made us welcome and explained their situation...... We only waited 15 to order food was their in ample time and cooked to perfection...... Worthy of a visit if your in the area.”

“We hired the play area for our daughter's birthday party. It's worth the money the kids loved it and the breakfast buffet was great too. The staff are lovely and always willing to help. You can bring your own food and drinks aswell which is great as most places wouldn't allow us to do this.”

“This is a great local shop with a range of basics that you might need. The prices can be quite high, but that can be improved at the times when they offer discounts on various items.
