Lucky’s Diner Stockport
● Open“We've tried Lucky's in Oldham, so we wanted to try the one in Stockport. The place is very aesthetically pleasing. There are a few tables upstairs and more downstairs if the place is packed. The menu was extensive with a lot of variety. I got the Route 66 Burger and a Mango mojito. The food tasted nice and it was presented well. Would definitely go again to try the other things on the menu.”

moviESCAPE Stockport
● Closed“This was our first escape room experience. We loved it!! The whole set-up was very well run from the briefing video at the start to the photo and lovely hot chocolate at the end. The staff were great. We did Merlin's Magic Academy and it was just at our level (Us two plus our 15 and 10 year old sons) ...we almost made it out within the hour :) Plenty of help during the challenge if required but it flows very well. Looking forward to returning and doing another room soon.”

Redrock Stockport
● Open“I'm very pleased we have Redrock on our doorstep. It's a very modern building, not to my taste (I like ancient Victorian architecture) but it offers some good stuff from a gym to restaurants, a cinema, bowling, darts and an arcade. It does Stockport a favour in the otherwise deteriorating centre of the town. Hopefully a sign of things to come. I hope it does well and all the businesses there stay open...”

Jungle Grill Stockport
● Closed“Great little restaurant/ takeaway. Myself and my girlfriend visited on a Sunday at 5pm and we were the only ones sitting in at that time but within our dine in, we saw many people come in for takeaways. Upon arrival we were politely given menus and told when we were ready to order, to do so up at the counter. As of 15/08/2021 their card machine isn't working so they are cash only at the moment, as they had a sign saying their card machine is broken I presume this isn't a permanent thing for the business. We had no problem paying cash though so this wasn't an inconvenience to us at all. We ordered a Tex Mex Chicken Burger Meal with a can of Diet Pepsi and sticky fries along with a Veg Wrap with a water and Peri-Peri fries. Both of which were great and came to £16.70, if I recall correctly. The chicken burger was amazing, tasted amazing and looked amazing. Chicken was lovely and the toppings all went together brilliantly. The sticky fries which are 'fries tossed in special spicy bbq sauce' were very nice, a bbq sauce which was on the sweeter side and stuck true to the sticky claim. My other half had the Veg Wrap which looked and felt very well filled, as well as very well wrapped, nothing was falling out the bottom at all. The 'veg patty' which was inside seemed to be a breaded patty mainly consisting of mashed potato, along with a few peas and sweetcorn by the looks of things. It was basically just a large potato croquette which was completely fine with both myself and my other half, they enjoyed it. It also came with salsa, 'jungle fry' (peppers and onions grilled in their 'special seasoning'), lettuce and mayo inside to spruce it up. The Peri-Peri chips were normal fries with a light dusting of spicy salt, not a whole covering of the spicy salt but enough for you to taste it a little, they're not quite as good as Nando's peri-peri fries, they're hard to beat. In full, we enjoyed our dine-in experience at Jungle Grill Stockport, it was a pleasant and yummy experience. We also thought the décor of the establishment was great, textured grey ceilings to mimic a jungle cavern, lights shining through bamboo poles, artificial candle lights with rope wrapped around them as if taken from a precarious rickety bridge in a rainforest and lots of artificial foliage on the walls, very jungle-y indeed. Can't really think of anything bad about our experience here so its a big thumbs up from both of us!”

Bloom Baby Classes Stockport West
● Open“We've done Hannah's Bloom classes both at Gatley and Cheadle Heath. The classes are entertaining and support little ones' development but Hannah really is the star of the show. My daughter is captivated by her, and she knows all the babies by name. She creates a welcoming and safe atmosphere and after a tricky start with numerous health problems, she helped make my first venture out of the house with my baby a really positive one. I go back to work soon and I'm gutted that I will miss our weekly classes.”

Creams Cafe Stockport
● Closed“Yummy desserts! Myself and partner visited on a Sunday at around 6:30pm and found ourselves a table and got to pondering what to order straight away on their very varied menu. I landed on the vegan mango & coconut waffle and my girlfriend chose the nutty banoffee waffle. You go up to the counter to order, with my mango & coconut waffle, I preferred coconut gelato rather than the mango sorbet which comes with that particular waffle. I asked if I could swap the sorbet for the gelato and the girl on the till did so without problem and to no extra cost. She also notified me that the coconut gelato isn't vegan which wasn't a problem to me as I'm not vegan, it just so happened that I liked the sound of the toppings on a vegan waffle. I thought that her telling me that this swap would no longer make the dish vegan was good attention to detail and good looking out for the customer. The wait in between ordering and receiving our waffles wasn't too long at all, I'd hazard a guess at around the 10 minutes mark, which we had no problems with, we were in no rush. The waffles - absolutely amazing, presentation was great, we were both very happy when we saw them arrive. the coconut gelato on my waffle was perfect, I'm a sucker for anything coconut and it was so good. Mango sauce was great too, the waffle itself was very nice, light, fresh and warm. My girlfriend's nutty banoffee waffle looked great too, a very healthy scattering of sliced banana all over the waffle with an equally healthy drizzling of chocolate sauce and toffee sauce. One thing we found which may be of some use to others who plan to buy a waffle from here is that the vegan waffles are about half as thick as the normal waffles. I managed to each all of my waffle and my other half struggled with her last third or so, upon giving hers a taste I could definitely taste the difference. So if you want a lighter than usual waffle I'd recommend the vegan waffle, just as nice as a normal waffle but about half as thick, gives you a greater chance of enjoying more of it before getting full :) It's a shame there seems to be a lot of reviews that aren't quite as positive as mine and I'd hate to think we just 'got lucky' and dodged their usual dodgy service and food but we really dined here without complaint and would quite happily do so again. I'd recommend Creams Stockport to anyone in search of a nice dessert place in Stockport :) *NOTE* When we visited on the 15th August, the opening times on google stated 11am-11pm Mon-Sun, yet on the window of the store itself the opening times were 1pm-10:30pm Mon-Sun. I suggested an edit to the opening times on Google to no success as of 25th August so have attached the opening times sheet that was on display on 15th August 2021, hope this helps.”

Mainly young people enjoying themselves so it quietened down after a minute or so.”

Rack
● Closed24 Lawrence Street, Stockport SK1 1DL, United Kingdom“Just had the vegan special...wow !! I'm not even vegan but went full vegan option and it was banging!! Toasted to perfection and the addition of some chilli heat wave Doritos in it for that crunch took it to the next level. I had the Bhaji sandwich the other week which was awesome too but I think with maybe a little mint (vegan) Yoghurt on it would take it level with today's taste sensation. What do you think Rack?”
