“Been using mkm in sharston for a while now the lads in the yard on behind the tills are a great helpful bunch always doing there best that your happy not like the other builder's merchants not so far away. They will always try beat prices and I'd say 90% of the Time they do always gonna have the odd item tgat might find a quid or 2 cheaper. Had tgere kitchen designer Stuart hankinson designing my kitchen great service nothing was too much trouble and went into detail of spec kitchen to suit everyone needs. “I ordered fence panels online, completing the order was frustrating owing to a technical problem ! But once completed Jewsons were brilliant ! As part of the problem my order was designated as collect, but I wanted delivery. The branch was closed , so phoned next day to rearrange delivery, this was done with no problem. My order was delivered next day . Brilliant. As an aside the fence panels were mad by Grange, approximately £4 dearer than those sold by most diy stores, but the difference in quality is like chalk and cheese ! Well done to Jewsons and staff for their help and stocking quality materials !”

Remember to look up the things you want online and have your references ready or your order number ready, this makes it quicker and easier to collect the things which you have bought. It's almost the equivalent of Argos- but for DIY. It was our first visit and we didn't realise that you couldn't look around the store. We thought it was going to be like B&Q. Basically, you order things and then you go and pick them up at the counter. The staff they were really lovely and still enabled us to order the things we required.”

“Ordered 5 bulk bags of 20mm limestone for delivery on saturday for today. Got a text my delivery was due in 15 minutes. Almost exactly 15 minutes later it arrived. Asked if it could be dropped over the back fence. A skilled and extremely helpful driver did just that. Full marks for service and quality in my opinion. My thanks to the delivery driver for going out of his way to provide the best service.”

“Always there for the gadgets and tools you thought you had but after rummaging in many draws and cupboards you find out you hadn't. Needed pliers yesterday (to extract my own teeth).....only joking. Anyway I did need pliers....did Wilko have them...of course they did.”

“I bought 6 bags of blue slate on 03.07.20. The man on reception was very pleasant and helpful. He also fully complied with the companies social distancing policy. I picked up the bags outside from the service yard and again all staff were very helpful. In fact the operative helped me to load the bags into the back if my car. I will be visiting Buildbase again because their prices are very reasonable and customer service is excellent. Service with a smile rules ok.”

“Good for picking up household stuff from cleaning sprays to mops, tools to paints, plates to pots. Not always the cheapest but ever so handy. There's a Home Bargains down the road which is worth a visit for cheaper prices, but less choice.”
