Dining in italian restaurants in Sale

“Today I went to Linguine for my best friends 21st birthday meal. There were 9 of us in total and the staff at the restaurant made sure to seat us on a large table with plenty of space. The table was very clean and set up lovely. The staff were very welcoming and friendly from the get go. The staff made sure that nobody was left without a drink and would regularly ask if we needed anything else. The waiting time for food was short and the food was piping hot and absolutely delicious. The food portions were very generous and very good for the price! The staff also brought out a birthday cake and everyone sang happy birthday. It was a lovely meal for my friends birthday all thank you to the staff at the restaurant. They definitely made our evening. I will be returning:) Thank you so much for such a wonderful night.”

“My daughter and i went for lunch here yesterday. It was really nice, the food was perfect and the staff were all great too. Would recommend. The children's menu was fab also she had veg sticks and dip for starter and pasta for her main followed by a banana brownie and strawberries.”

“After having a very very cold bus trip for 4h this restaurant was our salvation. From the outside one does not know what to expect, but once the door was opened we really got surprised. The warm and nice atmosphere inside made us enjoy the delicious lunch even more. The Spätzle tasted truly authentic, but at the same time had a touch of originality. We strongly recommend the Spätzle “Guanciale” (sadly not on the photos), which are a beautiful mix of different countries traditional plates. All in all this restaurant is something different and offers a nice variation of very interesting dishes and drinks. We strongly recommend it :)”

Pizza came fast and was delicious, couldn't finish it as it was so big however asked for a takeout box and they were happy to do so, on way out ordered some deserts, if you like pistachio then I highly recommend. “Wow! We had an amazing dinner, and rather by accident. We were trying to drop in at Rudy’s to celebrate some spontaneous good news, but hadn’t made a reservation. Feeling a little gutted, we happened upon Borrello while heading back to Sale High Street… The food was amazing! The pan-fried prawns were deliciously zesty and crisp, and the stewed ribs were just so flavourful and hearty; just beautiful! I had a Mushroom Risotto with Truffle Oil, and my partner had the catch of the day (Lemon Butter Sole with Truffle Chips). Aside from feeling so fancy, the flavours were all perfectly and delicately balanced. My partner finished her meal with fudge cake and ice cream, which she polished off neatly. I was way too full for dessert. The portion sizes are big, in my opinion, but the food tasted so good we put away the lot with no problem. My eyes feel like they’re about to pop, but I’m very satisfied. Excellent service, great atmosphere (lovely decor - the walls are impressive) and reasonably priced too for the experience. We had a great time and hope you do too!”

“I can't rate Sorento Pizza enough! I was let down by my pizza van caterer a week before my party and Sorento were able to save the day with less than 1 week's notice! My order of 50 14inch pizzas didn't faze them at all. I ended up adding an extra 6 pizzas to the order the day before and it was no problem! The mammoth order of pizzas were delivered on time and were piping hot and more importantly they were delicious and all of my party guests commented on this! Thank you so much Sorento!!!”

“One of if not the best all round take aways in Sale. Beautiful garlic bread with cheese, beautiful pizzas, kebabs on par with some kebab only places, fresh chips, nice burgers and also a selection of your usual fish and chip shop fare. I tend to stick to kebab and garlic bread when we visit here but I would happily try anything on the menu as the quality we have always had has been great. Worth a visit especially for the pizzas and garlic bread imo.”

“The shop doesn't look much. But after using Harlequin for the past 7 years, I thought I'd try this place for a change. Didn't regret it!!!! The pizza's are so good. The donner & Chips Calzone is also amazing. Burgers spot on. Well impressed. Will definitely be using them permanently now”
