“The best barber shop by far. I've been going to the Village Barber for the last 16 years. After visiting 3 other barbers when i first moved here I was so pleased with this one I've not needed to go anywhere else since. Great banter, free coffee and my hair is cut "exactly how i ask" unlike some other barber shops ive been to. My wife and sister are both hairdressers however i still insist on going to the Village Barber which must say something about this shop. A Great shop, A Good laugh and a Great Barber. it was nice to have a barber who has skill when he cuts hair, he cuts a lot with scissors and doesn't just hammer the clippers all of the time !!”

Staff were pleasant and very professional, which made me very confident about my clinic choice. “I'd initially booked a two week jaunt to South Africa for my Dads 60th and after months of uncertainty we got the call that it couldn't go ahead. Despite this, Black Opal had stayed in touch throughout the entire experience, reassuring us that they would do everything in their power to make it happen. Alas, it was out of their hands. Black Opal quickly arranged an alternative trip to Murrayfield to at least watch the Lions on home soil and what a day it was, we saw all of the players board the buses prior to playing and a stellar 3 course meal with guest speakers. We had great seats and the atmosphere was as good as we could of expected. Black Opal accommodated a payment method they did not previously accept for me to pay for the entire trip and we got great rates for the initial trip to South Africa and the revised trip to Edinburgh. I'd not used a travel operator before, but I can assure you reading this and Black Opal I do not intend to go elsewhere ever again for sports excursions. Special mention to Ben Collis for the initial handling of my enquiry but my utmost thanks and appreciation goes to Kathryn Morris who was instrumental in the handling of our initial trip when it was in limbo and arranging our trip to Edinburgh. I cannot recommend this group enough.”

Paul was at the venue at the time agreed and set everything up for us, meaning no worries in working out what i needed to do. He arrived at the end of the party to collect the equipment as promised. The deposit was refunded straight away. So all in all a fantastic service. Highly recommended.”

The pole instructors are absolutely lovely and push you to your limits in a supportive way. I'm in a mixed ability class and despite us all being at different levels we always get a move to suit our ability. “Before I asked for help with Doggydude it was virtually impossible to walk Loki, our German Shepherd, without having to hide from another dog or have our arms pulled off whilst he was barking at other dogs. I received a message back from Kieran within the hour of me sending a message and had a 1 to 1 session the next day. When Kieran met Loki he had full control of him and stopped his barking at the other dogs within minutes. Kieran must have been using some sort of magic to stop this as we have never been able to stop it. After 10 minutes Loki was walking along side another dog and through a pack of dogs. And by the end of the 1 hour session it was like having a different dog. He made sure, I as the owner knew exactly what to do and when to do it so I can go off confidently on my own to keep practicing and showing that Loki can walk without the need to bark at other dogs. I am so grateful and cannot recommend Kieran and the Doggydude team enough. Very affordable and friendly and a great amount of knowledge on doggy behaviour.”

Eve and her husband where just so gentle and patient with him and he's a big dog too! When we left we could just feel he was in good hands.
