“Really good meal. Flavours were excellent (although some dishes very spicy). I think what made it so great was the really attentive service. Everyone was very attentive and organised. We sat in the bar stools in the window and it made a change as well as we could people watch. Will definitely be returning!”

Everyone was at ease the moment we walked in, were really looked after, and were entertained from beginning to end. Nothing was too much. We had three course meals, and as a party of 50, I’m pleased to say that everyone’s culinary needs were deliciously met to perfection. We had some people with quite specific dietary needs; gluten free, and vegan to be specific. Nothing was too much and they loved it. Thank you again for going above and beyond, and making it a perfect evening to cherish and remember.”

“The owner/Liverpool fan reminds me a lot of my uncle who is also in the takeaway business who is also a Liverpool fan. Always a laugh & a joke about the football. Goes above & beyond for his customers, he has brilliant staff & chefs who were working very fast as they were pretty busy at the time & were 2 staff down. Me & my two work colleagues visited from Rochdale. Brilliant food & free bottles of pop from the owner as we had to wait due to them being short on staff. Nice gestures go a long way in the food business.. keep up the good work lads!”

“Absolutely love coming to wing yip, growing up i didnt really go to asian supermarkets and as i've got older i have come to love the trip to our local supermarket. The range and variety are absolutely stunning, there are brilliant little finds here, it sells dishes, pans and crockery that help transform your dining from casual kitchen to oriental fusion. On today's visit i bought some lovely chinese snacks, which i dont believe i could find anywhere other than here at Wing Yip, i got some vermicelli noodles, some fresh vegetables and fish, i also got some fermented black beans which are absolutely stunning, i also when visiting here always grab something random and try it and today was a bottle of Heinz Ox Sauce which i think i'll coat some deep fried chicken wings in. They also have a brilliant and extensive selection of frozen food from sui mai to frozen crabs. I'd say this place would be amazing for all your chinese cuisine needs. Highly recommend to anyone looking to shop and cook this amazing food.”

“Just got back from a one night stay and it was excellent. The room was spotlessly clean, the staff were extremely helpful. After a long drive up from Bristol it was perfect to pop next door and have a couple of beers. The breakfast was great, they catered for the vegetarians amongst us with no problems. “My husband and I love this place! We have never had a bad experience, the staff are lovely and super helpful. I recommend pre-ordering and collecting as they can be very busy but the food is most definitely worth the wait. We will not go anywhere else. We even buy food and take it to our relatives who live an hour away as it's far better than anywhere else even after travelling and reheating. 10/10 recommend.”
