“Great place! It's small so I'd recommend booking. Even on a cold wet tuesday night it was busy. Food is excellent. Didnt know Indian Scottish tapas existed before eating here. Nice and relaxed but attentive service. Theyve got that spot on. Alastair was really helpful with choices. Will definitely be back.”

“I randomly came across About Thyme whilst on a bike ride. I had the full english sat in a lovely courtyard and it was delicious. I was served by Becca & Rachel who were so nice and friendly. I will definitely be calling again.”

“We enjoyed our short stay here, clean comfortable family room, beds were comfy and we all had a good nights sleep before our departure to Turkey. It is in a very convenient location for Manchester Airport! The breakfast & evening meals I couldn’t fault, food was delicious. “My wife and I took our girls to celebrate booking a holiday in the U.S. The food was great. "Nicely American" for want of a better phrase. Tasty and reasonable price. The place was very busy (and so quite noisy, hence only 4 out of 5 for the atmosphere). But the team were on top of it with not long to wait for food. Great job. Our 'server', Savannah, was brilliant. So friendly, helpful and polite. Very attentive without smothering us. I noticed every time she passed our table she had a quick look to see if drinks needed refreshing, where we were at with food, etc. She (like the rest of the staff) were working really hard. Really enjoyed it and great food with great service made me want to go back again soon. Thanks!”

“Been meaning to try this place for a while, had my first Snobby Cow Burger and Dirty Fries, I've traveled far and wide looking for a good burger and had some good ones, but who knew that the best was right under my nose the whole time, amazing fries, perfect seasoning and ingredients and an amazingly juicy burger with the best concoction of toppings that complemented it perfectly. “After having a very very cold bus trip for 4h this restaurant was our salvation. From the outside one does not know what to expect, but once the door was opened we really got surprised. The warm and nice atmosphere inside made us enjoy the delicious lunch even more. The Spätzle tasted truly authentic, but at the same time had a touch of originality. We strongly recommend the Spätzle “Guanciale” (sadly not on the photos), which are a beautiful mix of different countries traditional plates. All in all this restaurant is something different and offers a nice variation of very interesting dishes and drinks. We strongly recommend it :)”

“It was my first visit to Door 34. Inside downstairs is quite compact, and was full when I visited last week. But there are a couple of rooms upstairs, and that is where I went. I ordered when I went in, a Cappuccino and Banana cake. As I said they were quite busy, and my order took around 25 minutes to arrive, but worth waiting for. The large Cappuccino was one of the best I have had, and the cake very nice. Staff were friendly and I enjoyed the experience in nice clean surroundings. I will definitely go again.”

“What a lovely coffee shop that serves light snacks too. I had the Greek Melt that was very tasty and my wife had the tuna salad sandwich. We sat in the front garden that's full of beautiful flowers. Staff were so friendly that is norm in this part of the country.”

“Just had the vegan special...wow !! I'm not even vegan but went full vegan option and it was banging!! Toasted to perfection and the addition of some chilli heat wave Doritos in it for that crunch took it to the next level. I had the Bhaji sandwich the other week which was awesome too but I think with maybe a little mint (vegan) Yoghurt on it would take it level with today's taste sensation. What do you think Rack?”

“Awesome little shop with great selection of beer and wine. Always receive a warm welcome and the coffee is gorgeous. Slowly building a stock of other items like gifts, most of which are very local which is fab. Love local supporting local. Also the pies and brownies are to die for. Beware, you will not shift the lockdown weight!!”
