“A fantastic pub decorated beautifully. There's a lovely conservatory to have your meal too. I had the carvery. There was about 5 different meat choices and huge Yorkshire puddings. Pigs in blankets are available at an extra charge. There's a great selection of vegetables. Lovely roast potatoes, boiled potatoes, mushy peas, cauliflower cheese, broccoli, mixed vegetables. 3 types of gravy. Vegetarian, meaty gravy and gravy with peppercorns. The usual sauces are available, apple, cranberry, mint. Our server was Marc who was just delightful. Me and my friend will definitely be coming back.”

“Food is very good, I would recommended the sundried tomato, mozzarella and pesto panini and the Italian Burger. Service is very good. Prices are very reasonable. Food is good quality. I’ve had breakfast/brunches from other local shops, however A Bite2Eat is the best one.”

“Fantastic food, great service and a couple of very happy diners! Everything we ordered was delicious - the prawn 65, lamb sukka and the crispy okra were all full of flavour, as were the lamb xacuti curry and prawn biryani. Highly recommend a visit!”

“My husband and I often have brunch or lunch at Fig&Fennel and we love the food there. When deciding where to have my 30th birthday party a few people mentioned that Fig&Fennel do private events in the evening - wow wow wow! Lee was great! The food was absolutely fantastic - all my guests commented on the huge variety of food on the night and how delicious it all was. “Date of visit: December 2021 Came here for birthday celebrations I had the chicken kebab which was delicious and tender. The kebabs don't come with salad or carb sides so need to order separately. It's bring your own alcohol. Not perfectly wheelchair accessible but managed to get a space onto the table without much fuss over the step. Staff were lovely. Nice decor. Book in advance at busy times.”

“I can’t believe I’ve not been before! Always chasing the sun I opted for its neighbour, as a treat to my mother I booked a birthday lunch here. I was pleasantly surprised, quaint courtyard with secluded spots you wouldn’t know you we’re next to a road. For food we tried all of the small dishes (tapas style) super tasty and enough to share. Engaging staff and a quirky interior see for a perfect visit. We will be returning soon”
