Lucky’s Diner Stockport
● Open“We've tried Lucky's in Oldham, so we wanted to try the one in Stockport. The place is very aesthetically pleasing. There are a few tables upstairs and more downstairs if the place is packed. The menu was extensive with a lot of variety. I got the Route 66 Burger and a Mango mojito. The food tasted nice and it was presented well. Would definitely go again to try the other things on the menu.”

The Plaza Stockport Café
● Closed“This cafe is well talked about and very popular with the locals. It's a hidden gem of Stockport. If you like a Sunday afternoon tea this is the place. Lots of little cakes and good quality tea, the thing to have is the teared plates. But will set you back 15 per person. But well worth it. Little sandwiches. Nice. It's all art deco... so it makes you feel like you should dress up to visit!! Service is quite posh here. Love the 1930 feel.”

Travelodge Stockport
● Open“This was a quick sleep stopover between flights and I didn't have much of an expectation due to a recent stopover at another Travelodge. However, it was very clean and well maintained yet this is rated 2star?? (I stayed at Park Royal, where the carpet in the room was disgusting and toilet wouldn't flush, yet this was rated 4 stars!!!) Here at Stockport nothing was too much trouble as we checked in at 1am after a flight delay and this continued the following morning with excellent customer service from all staff. Definitely brought Travelodge back up the booking ladder for a stay in Manchester anyway.”

Rack
● Closed24 Lawrence Street, Stockport SK1 1DL, United Kingdom“Just had the vegan special...wow !! I'm not even vegan but went full vegan option and it was banging!! Toasted to perfection and the addition of some chilli heat wave Doritos in it for that crunch took it to the next level. I had the Bhaji sandwich the other week which was awesome too but I think with maybe a little mint (vegan) Yoghurt on it would take it level with today's taste sensation. What do you think Rack?”

The food was absolutely fantastic - all my guests commented on the huge variety of food on the night and how delicious it all was.
