“Popped in to use the bar as we were waiting for teens to finish a birthday meal across the road. There was nowhere open to grab a coffee at 6.30pm on a snowy December eve. Although we were not dining in we were welcomed as any guest and the service was excellent even if it was for only 2 coffees and a beer. We are looking forward to coming back for a meal soon. “OMG..! For a Monday night in Altrinham.. Abso fab tea time 'sesh' with Emma behind the bar.. So attentive to customers needs.. Customers soooo.. Friendly.. Was only planning on staying for one pint but the 'oirish.. Craic...' was so wonderful that we ended up staying for four pints each.. Shame no real ale but neck oil beer very tasty.. Carlsberg available for lager drinkers.. Deffo wanna return...”

“So happy to have found this place; twice I’ve had fish & chips from there now and it is the best fish & chips I’ve ever had. Usually when ordering fish & chips from places, I will eat the fish and a few of the chips and bin the rest. On both occasions, I have actually enjoyed eating the chips as well as the fish, as the chips in this place are perfection itself! The fish is freshly cooked to order and they don’t hang around, they’re ‘on it’ as soon as you’ve placed your order. Cannot recommend this place highly enough.”

“Visited Belgian Bar yesterday for the first time and I was astonished about the level of customer service received. Nothing was too much trouble, staff was super friendly (they found a perfect balance of being friendly and not overload the customer with kindness). Although someone went beyond and above to make our table happy and that was David. I have asked for mocktail (not on the menu) thinking I might be faced with 'no' as it happened in few places already, but for David that was not a problem. All evening he was making me the most amazing drinks I could possibly imagine. Blends, taste and attention to details... just wow!!! Thank you so much for accommodating my needs. Left the bar super happy You guys should put those on the menu. Let other people taste what I did!”

“I’ve just had their beyond meat burger and it’s by far the best burger I’ve ever had! Not just vegan/vegetarian but any burger. It was so flavoursome and well presented. The chips were great too! Delivery was quick and I loved that the packaging didn’t include any plastic.”

“The hotel could do with some updating however there are no real complaints with my stay. Ample room in the car park, the cooked breakfast was made to order with no restrictions on quantities and the staff were beyond helpful, friendly and accommodating. Check-in is normally 3pm however I needed the room sooner due to a wedding and they were happy to accommodate us. Would stay again if i needed somewhere to rest after a night out.”

“As a party of 6 we visited this fantastic restaurant for my daughters 14th birthday. Excellent in every way from the staff to the food. The service was top notch and the food delicious and plentiful, the chef even cooked up a dish not on the menu as requested by my daughter and finished the evening with a special treat for the birthday girl.
